apparently that guy wasn't involved in any actual killings, but he owned the bar in Southie that was their home base. crazy!

good morning! 

flight back last night was delayed by almost 3 hours.  (the same plane comes up to whitehorse as comes back down...and it had to turn back to vancouver on its way up).  SO i didn't get into vancouver until almost 1.  was asleep by 2:15.  envy decided to rampage through the apartment until 6:45am.  needless to say...i'm damn tired.

lightening while at 35000 feet is the coolest freakin thing EVER by the way. 

lightening like that IS amazing. It did that the whole way during my flight to Memphis layover. And then it did it in the SNOW while on the way to Kansas City.

Snow, lightening...weird!

 haha yeah, but i've read a bunch of books on these guys, and i'm pretty sure Mr. O'Neil kept his hands out of the really dirty stuff. he just extorted money from people and allowed the other guys to use his business as a front pretty much.

apparently he was racking his brain trying to figure out what could possibly had gone wrong...  haha.

 no kidding...lol...to me if they're the mob, they're the mob. I don't seperate levels of "badness" They're all scum.

He may not have killed anyone, but he went for a bodybag while his boss held a gun to someone's head...

I'd still have been pretty excited to go to his house :P

and meagan, it's been said by some that the body bag story might not be entirely true. the globe exaggerated a lot of the stuff that happened, to make the mob guys look more like monsters, and i assume to make for better reading in the paper.

Yeah I bet it was all exaggerated.  They're right, though, the embellishments do make for an interesting read :D

well they definitely all had the accents down! funny think too,  P loves the Departed but he isn't a fan of Matt Damon's take on the accent. he think it's exaggerated. P apparently has never heard himself or any of his friends talk haha
