my brother and i wanted a cocker spaniel rescue dog, but dad vetoed the idea.

two years later we bought Holly from a pet store. I was 16 and bro was 14. We were just stoked to finally be getting a puppy. Honestly, I wouldn't trade Holly for anything, she is THE BEST dog ever. I love her dearly. Next time I get a dog though, I want to adopt from a rescue. (Great Dane if I have the space, Aussie if I don't have so much)

plus, i made up for it by rescuing Orion.

and ps. the barn owners talked to me about leasing Orion to another girl there so that they could buy another rescue and have me work with that one (cause i did such an awesome job they said.) I was sad but stoked at the same time. I have been horse shopping for rescues for a few days now, if it fits in the price range I can pick my own! Sweet! I will miss riding Orion all the time, but they said I could still ride him once a week and of course I can still love on him all I want.

okay, well then i will you guys not to be sick :)

oh, and i really love my new pic.  otter = love.

That sounds like a win-win situation, TB, since you can still ride Orion!  If he was leaving the barn it wouldn't sound so good to me.  :)

 yeah your dog is kinda different since it's a family dog, and not just your dog, so you didn't really have the final say or anything. my parents bought the dog i grew up with from a breeder and he was awesome. but i'd personally never buy a dog myself. and i get pretty peeved at people who still do even though they know better.

jules - that's the exact same as my parents.  they got abby when i was like, 13.  didn't have a whole lot of say.

when i finally get a dog, i'm definitely adopting.  adopted envy.  :)

 yeah! i've gotta pay for them, but only like $60. they are already going for $150+ for bad seats on craigslist.

i love the entire album. so good. Lady Gaga just set a record by having 4 #1 hits off a debut album. apparently that's never been done.

Yes it is, HLM.  I still haven't watched it though. 

I need to listen to Gaga's album apparently!  I know I'm not like, too good to like her, since I like Britney Spears sometimes.  :P
