nice dress!  you will look great!

hope to be back today...last few days have been nuts!

Bob and I are going to a dinner dance on Saturday...getting all dressed up...can't wait!  It should be fun!  Some friends are going to...we reserved  a table together...looking forward to it.

thanks! i think it's a good choice for the reunion, not TOO dressy, but dressy enough, and also good for wintery weather. i'm thinking i can wear it with fun black tights or something!

dinner dance sounds fun! P told me he wants to take me to dinner tomorrow night. looking forward to it :)

he also said last night that he'd like to come home with me for thanksgiving :D

so...back story...Tori is freaked out by her american girl doll.  She is convinced that she moves around at night...knowing this...

haaaha that's a good one for halloween! american girl dolls are kinda creepy...

though maybe i just think that cause i wanted one so bad but my parents said they cost too much!

Love the dress Jules :)  I wanted a Samantha doll when I was little.  My parents wouldn't buy it either... Not that I really blamed them, most of the time I'd run off and play legos, GI Joe, or Matchbox cars with my brother rather than playing with my dolls anyway...

i wanted samantha too! we had the same hair and everything! but i never played with dolls either, i just played with my stuffed animals and books and rode my bike a lot or played outside with my friends.

i think i really wanted her because i really really wanted all the minuature stuff she had. i loved the furniture and food and neat little stuff.

omg, so now i'm googling american girl dolls haha

and there's a historical doll named Julie! and she's like a hippy from the 70's, and she has like a hippy bedroom set.

want.

Tori has the "just like me" doll...you design it to look like you.  It's creepy for sure!  lol

she never plays with it anymore but feels weird about getting rid of it.  lol

hahaha i don't blame her! you can't like...chuck a mini you doll in the trash or give it away!

Ha!  This is why I always wanted a doll house!  Not because I wanted to play with the dolls, but because I wanted all the nifty mini things! :)

And yeah, my poor dolls were rather neglected.  I had books, I draw a lot (always have), played with my brother's toys, was a pool rat, etc. etc.

i wrote stories a lot! that was my favorite thing to do. i really need to get back into doing that.

I don't think I had any dolls other than Barbies, and those were pretty much chucked into a toybox after I changed their outfits once or twice.  I preferred My Little Ponies, and later, Breyer horses (which I still have, I think)... but mostly I read books and played outside.

I had a TON of those Meagan!  (both the My Little Ponies and the Breyer horses)

Still have all of the Breyers in a box at my parents' house. :)  I loved those.

jules look what i found last night in gastown!

obviously, we have to go there.  i'm thinking for dessert.

Got your text this morning, HLM (I am lame and fell asleep at 10 last night) :)

hah, i go to bed at 10 waaaay too frequently.

morning girlies!

i have kind of caught up. i barely have time to come in today though. :(

my desk "upgrade" is right outside senior managers cube...which means CC only on breaks and lunch and no getting away with it at any other time...she is sneaky!

SLO, i will definitely go eat as Jules haha

and bummer about the new spot TB!

last night, i had 2 glasses of wine at the wine bar.  then i had a glass with my dad (and his co-workers/people who work for him) at their meet & greet in a hotel suite.  ha!  and then i had another glass at home.

so why on earth do i feel like a wine truck drove over my face?  so tired...

I realized I didn't notice this the first time around!  Good stuff!

Has he met any of your family yet?

That does suck about your new desk position, TB.  :(  Too had you don't have one of those anti-glare monitors - I hear those help.

Four glasses of wine, I'd probably be a bit tired too HLM :P

i never noticed the thanksgiving comment either, jules...but that's awesome!  so is dinner, of course :)

usually four glasses doesn't make me tired.  i woke up a million and one times all groggy-like in the night.  i think that's the culprit.
