that situation is so incredibly difficult.  at least she has a strong support system, it seems. 

yeah her friends have come through.

it's just such a sad situation.

i just talked to her in the hospital, she said they were late giving her her blood pressure meds and her blood pressure went back up. i wonder if they'll actually end up releasing her now since her blood pressure is their main concern.

kinda scary too, i called to ask her what her apartment number is, because all i know is where the complex is. she doesn't remember it.

I would say hopefully not, as she does not sound stable. 
I hate our healthcare system.  If she is released, I'd bet dollars to doughnuts it's because the insurance companies are pulling strings, trying to save their money.  Ugh.

I really hope they don't send her home.  How long has she been living at that apartment?  Few months now, right?  Sounds like she's definitely still feeling the cognitive effects of her collapse.

yeah, she's been living there several months. she doesn't remember the last three weeks or so at all. it's scary. her friend said she keeps repeating herself and forgetting things.

from what her friends have told me, the hospital said if she is released they don't want her alone at all.

Well I am off to Costco to get dog food...  The place is like crack to me.  There are such good deals...

The problem is that I never know; I may come back with a 5 gallon bucket of soy sauce.  I mean how can you pass up 5 gallons when it only costs $0.05 an ounce.  See you all Later!

aww, that sucks.  i'm kinda in the same boat.  writing out our emergency procedures stuff.  20 of them.  no fun.

aww, UP's cat is really sick...peeing everywhere.  and the vet can't figure out what's wrong with her.  which sucks...because if it doesn't get fixed, she may have to put her down.

ps - her boobs are kinda everywhere today.  at work.

That's sucky, HLM!  I wonder if the cat has diabetes or something.  Kidney failure?  Sometimes I wish I was a vet, although even if I was, I probably couldn't help much over the internet.

i know megs.  me too...except seeing sick and hurting animals would break my heart.

so i want to make a salad for lunches this week.  likely with salmon on top.  i'm thinking baby spinach and romaine lettuces...with tomatoes.  what else?  i'm looking for super healthy...

Different colored bell peppers are yummy... hmm.  Carrots?  Maybe some beans for added protein?

i will likely do a pepper.  maybe carmelize some red onions...(tempted to add bacon).

i also want to blanche some green beans too.
