I'm not surprised!

On a lighter note you know what pissed me off about ten minutes ago?

i went out a walk with the dog and it's very slippy underfoot with ice so I'm tottering along holding onto fences and walls etc scared in case I fall....and this smart-ass guy goes striding past me like the paths were clear...........

I so gave him a glare and hoped he would slip!

i remember me and a friend walking along on a scarily icy sidewalk, and this guy moved out into the snow to be polite and less us pass him...

and ate it upon stepping back onto the sideway.  like, full out, flat on back, ate it.

the worst part is that we laughed...couldn't help it.  tried SO hard to hold it in...

so i think i'm buying a wee 24" fake tree.  to festively decorate my apartment!

 Awwww... I saw the cutest one in a shop window the other day.  All sparkly and bright red!  Sounds awful, but looked really pretty, actually.

so do you guys decorate for xmas?  i usually do a bit, will likely a bit more this year, even though i fly home to my parent's on the 23rd...

Yep, I like Christmas :)  I used to have more decorations than I do now, but my sister and I will do a tree at the very least.

i have quite a few little decorations, nothing big at all. 

i don't have the room to do anything big. 

Nah I don't bother, it's only me and the dog..

it's just me and the cat!

but i still love christmas, so i'll do a little something.  it'll make me smile.

(ps - i may or may not also be a douche)

I hang lights on my house and try to kill myself every year and do a tree but that's about it for me.

I love to see all the decorations on peoples homes, the american thing of hanging all lights around the outside of the house has really taken off over here and it looks fantastic, but I just don't do anything.

when's everyones staff christmas party, are you going?

it probably goes without saying, but canada is the same as the states with our decorations.

i'm really picky with how people decorate their houses...when i still lived up north, i would tour around in my car and critique it.  :)

i just put out like, xmasy candle holders, and small decorations.  nothing elaborate...(i live in a really densly populated apartment filled area of town).

Yeah I would say the % here of the ones that do it do it really well and the houses are eye catching but there are the odd ones who just take it too far!

 I fly a ton for work and I will have to agree with you about the turbulent thing...  not as bad as Phoenix or Denver but pretty bad.  I have had a few landing that were pretty iffy and hard.
