the weirdest part to me is that vancouver tends to be pretty smooth, yet seattle and vancouver are really similar, geographically speaking (ie: right on the water)...the only difference is that the van. airport is right on the ocean...

I see a lot of those kinds of landings and I've even known the pilots to come off and go straight for a double brandy

I am kind of a busy guy.  For work I actually do two things...

First, I run the sales and marketing departments of a smallish commercial maintenance contracting firm.  Its a pretty cool gig that I have been doing for a little over a year now.  I took this job to help supplement the loss of my income and benefits from starting a business at the same time.  I spend the majority of my time trying to convince new vendors to work with us.  I work with Ann Taylor, Home Depot, Wendy's and the like. 

Secondly, I started a small food brokerage with my old boss in which basically, we are the middle men/consultants who work with companies that sell items into Costco Corporate(where we both used to work), HEB, Safeway, Whole Foods and etc... 

I think that i am pretty lucky that I love both things.  The down side is I have stretches where I spend a lot of time on the road.  I have flown over 70,000 miles this year.  But I guess on a positiver note, I get to see a lot of places and get lots of FF miles...

What about your star, or I guess everyone... what do you do for work?

well that's a whole lot more exciting than "i work at a bank as an admin assistant and work part time in retail".  :)

I'm a ramp-agent/dispatcher at the local airport, nothing too exciting!

I do A/R for a couple of wineries...

Yes, totally agree.  But he's a douche, so apparently the rules of proper conduct don't apply to him.

 WOW, that is uber-lame.  I would be so friken pissed...  Is it the gutar tat in your profile?  From what I can tell, it is super sweet... lots of deal...  He seems to be talented but don't make up for him being such a super flake...
