phew, sweet relief, glad I'm not the only one! After much reflection, I think I'm PMSing. I'm more crotchety than a wet cat in a sack!
I just weighed in, in the other thread. I'm down two pounds from last week! :)

Morning!
Today is DAY 1 for me. . . . weighing in at 230.
Over the past 2 years, I fought breast cancer (diagnosed at age 31), went through 24 treatments of Chemo and 35 of Radiation.
I had my FIFTH and FINAL surgery (Breast Reconstruction) in October.
I'M DONE !!!! I'm considered CANCER FREE now - so I'm a SURVIVOR! Can't believe I even had it - no history in my family of ANY KIND of Cancer . . . . and I'm only 31! (well, I'm 33 now).
Anyway- prior to all this, I was doing step aerobics 45 minutes each day, weights every other day and weighed about 180. However, I wore a size 8.
AMAZING what chemo can do do your body! Dr. said my body went into "starvation mode" and didn't lose much - then being so sedentary with all the surgery and not feeling well through chemo made me gain weight. Everything I ate (which wasn't much to begin with) went straight to storage.
My muscles and entire body are WARPED! My main goal is to get my body back to "working like normal" . . then losing weight. But I figure weight loss will come automatically with everything else.

Anyone interested in how the others are doing should review the weigh-in board. Not to confuse new comers we probably should just post our weights there. I did OK but hope to do better next week. I plan on reaching my goal of -25 pounds in 11 weeks. Go Green Team!!!

Hey guys! I hope everyone had a great week. The long weekend was tough and I struggled through it but I'm happy to report I lost!! I weighed in this morning at 173. So since Jan2. when I started. I've lost 9 1/2 pounds! I'm really excited.

Hello everyone. Do you think our team is off to a good start? I lost one pound this week and had really hoped for more, but have been fighting a cold for two weeks and have used that excuse to keep from exercising. Next week no excuses for me..don't want to let the team down. Much luck to all ....GO GREEN
I had an interesting week - my weight seemed to be on a trampoline, up and down, up and down. Today, exactly where I was last week, 161.5. Bizarre. Yesterday was 160, and it wasn't a high sodium day for me. I'm expecting very different results next week :)
Ok I don't have the greatest news.. I'm up 1.5 pounds! Going to work really hard this week. Which I thought I did last week but I guess not hard enough! Like I said before I'v been doing the Leslie Sansone videos so maybe just maybe it's muscle.. :) I can't believe the numbers this week good job everyone!!! 9 pounds 6 pounds you all should be really proud of yourselfs... Have a great & healthy day...
HI!!! cmheath and welcome to the GREEN TEAM. Your intro really touched my heart. I am truly amazed that you have so much drive and determination. I wish you the best of luck and I hope that the Green Team rallies around to support one of our own and to give you a boost of encouragement when you need.

Congrats on the 1 lb! I'm so jealous of my hubby - he started at the Gym when I did, and has already lost 5 lbs. He hasn't made a large change in eating. . . . we really don't eat badly - I've just never counted calories.
AND, I'm one of those who can go until 1pm before eating anything, and then eat dinner around 6pm.
NOW, my trainer wants me to eat 5 MEALS A DAY! WOAH! For breakfast, he wanted me to eat 3 waffles, 6 egg whites, toast, peanut butter and fruit.
HELLO?!?!?!? I'm lucky to get 1 1/2 waffles down in a morning when I actually do eat breakfast - much less everything he wants me to eat. . . . . HOLY COW.
I counted calories yesterday for the first time (and actually only started counting half way through the day after I had my first appt. with the trainer). . . . .I even had Chick-Fil-A nuggets for a rushed lunch, and I only ate 1,076 calories all day. . . that's a normal day for me.
I'm hoping that the extra calories each day and extra meals will get my metabolism started and out of starvation mode. I think that's my major problem.
Sounds like everyone is losing weight - little by little - keep up the good work ! Sounds Great!

Hey team, I'm up a pound, but I'm not discouraged, when you exercise you begin gaining a little weight because muscle is heavier than fat. I have been really watching my calories and fat intake, but it is difficult because I love food. I don't want to eat something just because it is good for me, I want to eat it because I think it tastes good. My family is helping because we are planning menus together.
cmheath I know what you mean my husband and I just started the gym too and he also have lost weight while I've gain a pound. He can snack at night and I have a glass of water or cup of tea.

Go Green Team! I lost 6.6 lbs this week!!!!!!! My goal is to loose 56 lbs in this competition. Just so you all know I DO EAT! That air and water diet doesn't work for me as I love food. I typically loose 5 lbs a week when I'm exercising and eating healthy and plateu at a healthy 110 lbs for my 5 ft frame. So I think I can reach my goal as long as I don't cheat!

Well the scale arrived - and although I am happy to have it back, I am not happy at the results. In fact, I am stumped. I have been on my diet (only binged once - and that was about 3 weeks ago, before the New Year) and I have been exercising (except the last few days because I can not get to the gym due to the ice) and it is telling me I GAINED 10 lbs in the last month. How is this possible??????? I did not go below 1200 calories at any point in time so I know I did not go into starvation mode. I am so disgusted right now. My husband says that it is just more confirmation that this is most likely a thyroid condition that I am dealing with. As I am writing this, I am sitting on hold with the Drs office to make an appointment. She did not take me seriously last time so I am hoping she will this time. All I know is I am SOOOOOOOOOO pissed off and disgusted and mad and right now in NO mood to eat anything at all, which I know is wrong, I need to eat, but I just can not bring it to my mouth.
Anyways, I wanted to let you all know that I will be recording my weight (gain) to the Biggest Loser thread, and figured you all needed the heads up. I am so sorry everyone. I feel like I let you all down - and myself.
