lol.. Im a math student, not english ^_^  but I do hate spelling things wrong or using bad grammer... so correct me all you like!
i vote for bums away, cuz i cannot wait to have a cutie little booty!! and im thinking we can lose more than 5 pounds in 12 weeks, we can do anything we put our minds to, so im going to say its too litlle!! personally im shooting for 25!!!

I'm looking for 12 lbs in 12 weeks too - and if I can manage 15 that'll be awesome!  I have a self control issue when I get home from work.  Yikes.
I'm sure you guys can reach those goals! *cheers* we CAN do this!!

Just got my team assigned and glad to be on this one.  My goal for the 12 weeks is 25 lbs.  I'm new to this so i figure i should be able to average 2lbs/wk.

Ok, firstly my apologies for the whole ?thinnest loser? misspell, It was my suggestion, and I am sure that Sarah just copied and pasted what I had first misspelled. I am not an English student, and I am quite bad at spelling. (I wish there was a spell check on here.) As it is I am writing this in a WORD document so it can check it for me.

Oh I vote for Bums away! My area of focus is my stomach, but I could certainly loose a bit from there.

I'm already down 2 lbs since weigh in... how? I'm not sure. but happy none-the less! I've been doing the 1000 minute challenge this month and passed the halfway mark yesterday and am pretty psyched about that!
I think I can lose another by next week to get me to my pre-Christmas weight! yay ^_^ ... a month to get back to normal.. ouch! No more going crazy on holidays for me! Ive learned my lesson!
Oh! and I've moved the voting deadline to Sunday night at midnight, so we can have our name in for Tonya to post for next week's weigh-in. Unless there are any objections?
Virtual no-cal martinis???  I'm so in!!! :D  Hey Sarah, great job with the thread!  You're a busy little thing aren't you?!  I'm so indecisive that I can't decide which name to vote for so I'm going to let everyone else decide.  Besides, I like all of the ideas.  I don't think that a 300 pound goal is too much.  So 12 weeks puts us when exactly?  Do you have an exact ending date?  Thanks for putting your time and effort into this challenge!  Way to be a team leader! xoxo
I vote for Bums Away.  What is the 1,000 minute challenge?  I was trying to understand the burning 1776 calories for being sedentary.
I mean 1727 for normal calorie burn that system puts in.  I am trying to lose 20 lbs by my husband's birthday on April 9th.  I'm trying to lose weight from having a baby in February.
Hello Team 1!! I think 300 lbs is a great goal- lets bust through it!! As for a team name- they are all great- I will let you guys decide that one :) Lets kick some booty!!!

well, the 1000 minute challenge is a challenge started by.. Marianne.. I think? Where a bunch of us C-Cers are try to do 1000 (or a different set goal) minutes of exercise in January (~30 minutes/day). Its too late for signups this month, but I'm pretty sure someone will start another in February. Or, you could just set a goal to get, say, 500 minutes by the end of January and keep track yourself.

As for you normal calorie burned, Take that and add all the calories you burned from exercise. then, subtract all the calories you've eaten in the day. Try to get this number, called your deficit, around 400-600. Never let it go over 1000, and try not to let it drop below 0. Also, eat more than 1200 calories/day, even if it makes you deficit less than your goal range.

I attempt to get between 700 and 900 deficit, but am very careful not to get to 1000, and try not to get less than 300 deficit.
