I've been pretty bad at keeping this updated, so check out the results link below for up-to-date totals ^_^ or check out team 2's thread (also a link below) cause JM usually keeps that thread pretty well up to date.  ~sm

I am so excited to have found this site!! I love all the positive energy...I like Bums Away for our name...makes me laugh cause that is sure my goal!

Lady D
Hi just wanted to say that I am really excited about this challenge. I am looking to lose between 15-20 pounds.

My first weigh in was 243.

So final goal is between 228 and 223.

Go team!
Welcome cpage!

Glad to have you aboard!
Hi everyone! Hope your weekends were more productive than mine. Greasy pizza, pop, no exercise and little water pretty much sum up mine *sigh*  oh well.. recoverable at least!

*yawns* I am so tired. Was taking care of my parents dog who decided at about 4am that she was going to paw at my face til I rubbed her belly.  So very happy to be home now!

Welcome to all our new members! Hope you have fun being part of the greatest biggest loser team ever! ^_^
Welcome home, Sarah!

Perhaps your parents' dog was chanelling my pain. I got home from my parents at midnight and continued (ahem, started really) to work on my paper. At 4:15am I realised I hadn't done any exercises on Friday or Saturday, so guilt ridden, I got up and did an hour. Madness!

You can work off the pizza and pop, no probbie. And hey, if you enjoyed it, then great!!

This week will be awesome, hopefully we'll all feel lighter by Wednesday! (By the by, my hubs calls those "Rensdays.")

Ren :D
My vote is for Bums Away!

My goal for the 12 weeks is 20 pounds, which might be a little aggressive for me, but I'm gonna give 'r a shot!
Ok! its official we are now ***Bums Away!!*** Great name! I love it!
Anyway, gotta get to some readings, so I'm afraid I can't hang out and chat. Hope everyone is having a marvelous Monday! I'll edit the main post later on when Im on windows at home... Im simply lost on a mac and my html is shotty, at best.
Weigh-in in 2 days!  Good luck everyone!  Bums Away! :D
I am setting a goal of 20 pounds for myself.
20 lbs is a good goal, you can do it! I'm hoping for the same. Its a pretty steep goal, but If we work really hard it is definately do-able!

*\o/* cheers!
hey everyone! Just found the thread :) How's everyone doing? Today was a new day for me, cause I've just found the joys of exercising! And the pain D: my right knee is killing me cause I didn't exactly warm up for my cardio and I'm more out of shape than I thought! Anyone have any techniques to help strained/hurt knees? Or should I just wait this one out?

Good luck everyone!!
(P.S. Loving our team name)
Hi Team 1

Proud to say - we are starting as the lightest team (he he).  I do have a couple questions though.  This Wednesday (the 17th) - is this day our official first weigh-in?  When is the last weigh-in date?

My goal for 12 weeks - 20 pounds.  Hope we all succeed.  Good luck everyone!!!
I am shooting for 20 too. But any loss I will take. Gotta start somewhere. :)
actually my weight last Wednesday (that was weigh-in day, right?) was 187.
Alo alo!

My goal is 20 too! Seems to be the magic number. We can do it!

Resh - For hurt knees: Try icing your knee for 20 mins at a time, and when you sleep, roll up a towel and tuck it under so that you don't put too much pressure on it. Mind that you don't sleep on your side, or your knee will have a lot of pressure on it from the other leg.

Whatever you do, don't stop exercising, just take it easy on the high impact. Stick to the elliptical, or to walking rather than running. You can strengthen the muscles around your knee to avoid future damage.

Bums Away!

Ren :D
I vote for lighten up:))
Greetings all, Have we decided on a name? What happened to Weight to Go..I like that one.

My goal is to loose 16 lb. (135lb Goal weight) :-)
Hi Everyone! I'm new to CC.com and new to this challenge (although very not new to trying to lose weight -- I recognize the "yo-yo" someone mentioned earlier). Anyways, I'm looking forward to a healthy 12 weeks! :-) And beyond . . .

Starting at 165, my total goal is 135. My goal for the next 12 weeks is 150 (the half-way point), so a loss of 15 lbs.

I love the motivation here (and love the name)!

Best of luck to all of us!
Just found y'all. Dang I just saw my weight up there  in black and white wow I have work to do my goal for the 12 weeks is 20lbs.

Good Luck Team!!!
Thanks for the advice Ren :) My knee's feeling better today, and I'll stick with walking my dog today and maybe tomorrow.

Also, like most eveyone else, my goal is to lose 20lbs :)
Good luck tomorrow everyone!!
