veganjada it says on the TBL thread (at the bottom of page 7 where all the results are) that you missed weigh in. Is this right?

I know why we are last cuz it says that 6 people in our team missed weigh in so that is bound to give us a disadvantage when all of team 3 weighed in and only 2 of team 2's members missed weigh in!

Oh well hopefully we'll all post our losses next week. Smile

Well, either these people are going to get on board with the program or be kicked off in 3 weeks. 

If they are kicked off that leaves us with the reality of how we that are trying are actually doing. 

It looks like the other teams were putting in bigger pound losses compared to us that posted.  So, we are going to have to step it up or be left in the dust....

Hey y'all..

i wanted to quickly clarify something.  I posted we were lightweights to motivate us!  I am sorry if it came off like I was complaning or feeling defeated.  I just knew that, like Ally and Kelly, we are going to have to bust it to kick the other teams butts!  They did it and so can we!!!

That being said,  I am doing GREAT with food this week!  I also have been taking my baby out walking in the stroller now that the weather is nicer.  We walked for almost 2 hours yesterday running errands around the city, a lot of it uphill!!

We may have started slow, but now that we see that, we are going to come back stronger than ever!!  I am taking the baby to the zoo tomorrow and we are going to walk walk walk!!

Get moving everyone!  get a pedometer(only like 5 bucks!) and shoot for 10,000 steps a day! That is five miles and you will find yourself taking the long way in the office hallways when you have a goal of steps to take!!

lorenzia-  That is rotten about the internet being blocked where you are at.  What does NBC accomplish by doing that?  Or whomever is responsible...  I look forward to your very early morning posts (from the American point of view).

resabg-  I thought you were analyzing the situation and you go girl!  Takes alot of extra work and emotional energy to take the baby on two hours worth of errands.  You rock!

vegan-  I have read that women in relationships tend to gain weight because they start fixing more meals and then end up eating similar to their husbands and/ or boyfriends who actually need the extra calories.  Did the weight creep up on you when he moved in?   Just something to consider (if you haven't already). 

Conversely, if he shows you how to train with weights/Bowflex/ then that could work out very good for your team!  Wink

Remember gang...This is the time to finally get our weights where we want to be and create the lives we want.  Let's go for it.

 A couple of years ago my mom found out she weighed as much as my dad and had the realizaion..."I've been eating as much as him why shouldn't we weigh the same."  Anyway, since then she's been very careful with portion control.  That is so true...easy to do if you don't consider too.

WELL TODAY I THINK I BROKE MY PLATEAU!!!  I'm not holding my breath or anything, we'll see what tomorrow brings but I got on the scale today and was 3 lbs lighter than yesterday.  It has been 17 days since I have changed in either direction of 1 lb. 

I'm so excited!  I was really bumming out...eating 1600 calories a day, all "whole" foods, lifting 3 days a week, cardio 5 days a week.  I'm 5'8" with a small frame and it didn't seem right to eat less, plus my calorie deficit has been between 1000 and 500 lbs and I hear you aren't supposed to go more than that.

Yeaaaah!  GO TEAM ONE!

p.s...this may be the first time in my life where i get excited to weigh myself!

Have you heard the news?  In the Comcast fan videos, they are showing a college student who lost 120 pounds in 11 months through diet and exercise.  What a change in such a fast amount of time...

And those numbers are shockers for me... I will be pushing it extra hard tonight and tomorrow...

The weather went from the high 70's to literally SNOWING a little bit this morning (sleeting last night) so this week has been tough.

I will be back later or tomorrow to type more. Keep up the good work ladies.

i ate super great this weekend, stayed in calorie range and on saturday walked with baby and stroller for about 1 1/2 hours....yay!

Afternoon everyone.

Hope you've all had good weekends. So is everyone ready for weigh in tomorrow? I've been really good with my food over the weekend which i'm chuffed about, and i'm going for a walk at lunch time and off to the gym after work to burn off as many calories as possible!

Really hoping for a big weight loss this week but just a warning my time of the month has just started!!! not good timing... but hopefully it won't make too much of a difference. Sealed

resabg3 sounds like you're doing really well... can't be easy trying to lose weight and have a new born as well!

 The numbers are updated in the main thread.  3 members of your team edited their posts so I missed those weigh ins.  Your percentage loss just about doubled from roughly .3% to .6%.  Amazing what 3 extra weights can do.  If the other 3 members fail to weigh in this week and the week following they will be removed so that will greatly help your numbers.  Good luck Team 1.

Well, this morning I was back to my plateau number.  :(  We'll see what it looks like tomorrow.  Could have been a fluke I guess.

Lifting weights and taking a step class this evening.  Should make a difference.

I just got half an hour of execise in on top of the ten hours I have logged this week. Look forward to the weigh in tomorrow.

I have a very busy next couple of days. Will try to get another workout in tonight, but don't know.

Hi everyone i know im extra late on this site, but i have been working hard at home!! I only have access through my job computer so i will be updating monday through friday. so here goes

i'm 21 SW255 CW? i have been going to a personal trainer 4 times a week and he told me not to weigh myself every day so im not going to until tomorrow morning b4 work for our weigh in!!

I'm really excited about this challange i hoping to loose about 35 lbs b4 4th of july i love the vibe from this group and im sure we can win stay strong team!!!

i try to stay under 1400 calories and i work 8am - 4pm work out 5pm-6pm and go to school 7pm-11pm monday through friday so if you have some advice to help fasten on my weight lose plz tell me i love criticism

Hey there!!  Sorry I haven't posted before now-my father-in-law passed away last week, not sure how this weeks weigh in will be, you know how it goes with funerals, it seems like all you do is eat-and exercise isn't easy to get in when you have company-and showings, etc.  Anyway, back on track Saturday, worked out, going to do it tonight also, and hope for the best tomorrow, I hope I don't GAIN, that would be horrible!!!  Until tomorrow. . . .

Just making sure, are my weights showing for last week, I posted them, but I didn't see it in the post?????  Maybe I'm going to the wrong place???  Let me know, please, I don't want to be the reason for problems, really I AM posting!!
