Quote  |  Reply

Hi team,

let's do it! Better here and together ;)

Hey guys,

how are we all doing? weighed in this morning and lost 2lbs. Pretty pleased with that, was hoping for a bit more but oh well. Looking forward to hearing how you've all got on.

Glad to see we've got some more people posting... hello to you guys.

Anyway I will be back on later when it is a more reasonable hour for those of you in the US Smile

Good luck all,

We have the heart to make this happen!

TEAM 1

SW - 244
W1 - 243
W2 - 240

Week 2 Loss - 3
Total Loss - 4

Ok guys....  I am pretty much bummed this morning.   I was at this weight a couple of days ago.  I expected to pull a bigger number; especially since this was my first "real" week of working hard towards weight loss and I exercised for over ten hours this week.

Did I mention that I don't look any different????

I want it now! is a song that comes to mind.

Seriously though, the first week is usually the big week.  So what is going to happen next?  Am I stuck with little 1 and 2 pound losses because of my age?  Yikes.

Anyway, sorry for ranting and raving.  I was just caught by surprise.

All that aside, I would like to welcome the new folks too!

I have a very full schedule today.  So I probably won't get a chance to check in (let alone exercise) anytime soon.

But I wish everyone well and remember; we have the heart to make this happen! Cool

Starting Weight: 207

Week 1 - 205.5

Week 2 - 201.5

This weeks weight loss - 4 lbs!

total weight loss - 5.5 lbs!!

Go Team 1! woo hoo!

Transformation...you are doing awesome, that working out is going to eventually help you hit a HUGE number, don't give up!!

Great job Lorenzina! 2 lbs is a solid number.  Remember guys, ANY LOSS is better than a gain or no loss at all!

ps...I actually ADDED 200 calories a day this week because I was only eating between 1500-1600 a day and the forum suggested 1800(because I am a breastfeeding mother you need more calories).  I was SCARED I was going to gain big because of it, but I lost more this week than any week since I started. So check your calorie intake and make sure you are eating enough that your body doesn't go into starvation mode! It sounds nuts but eating more may help you lose that weight!

Way to go Team 1!!!

Starting Weight: 148

Week 1 - 147

Week 2 - 145

This weeks weight loss - 2 lbs!

Total weight loss - 3 lbs! (for me this is huge because it's all belly fat I've had for years...hard to get rid of)

I'm off my plateau!

Transformation your body is probably just in a little bit of shock.  Give it time, DON'T give up...if you read back, I was on a plateau up until this weekend.  I work out 5 days a week too so i know how you feel when you work so hard and don't get the results you were expecting.  Just keep going, it will happen.

Happy Tuesday Y'all!

You are all so motivational.
I have to tell you that you totally rock!
I haven't been doing so well since the beginning of the challenge! I'm hoping to gain that momentum.
I will definitely be thinking about all the hard work and progress you are making to continue to motivate me.

Hey all,

I'm back! Had a couple of rough days, but I logged on last night during Biggest Loser to log my food & exercise for the past couple days and log my weight. GO ALI & BERNIE!!! Didn't everyone look great???

Anyway, it looks like everyone is doing a great job!! Keep it up people!! I have been stressed but I'm still stickin to it. Can't wait to hit the gym today!

Here are my stats:

SW: 192

Last week: 191

This week: 188

Loss this week: 3 lbs  Hooray!

We have the heart to make this happen!

Yes they are correct, thank you for all that you are doing Jeremy!!

Wow!  It looks like our group is kicking it into high gear.  Go team 1!  And I would like to thank you all for your words of encouragement.

Now for some really rotten news....   I was soooo busy yesterday that I couldn't watch Biggest Loser and my TIVO did not record it as it was supposed to.  What a disappointment today!

Lo and behold NBC is not showing the video on their website.  How cruel is that?

But life goes on.  Yeah Ali and Bernie!  What a ride and who would have thought?

We have the heart to make this happen!  Cool

Hey all,

glad you are all still motivated. I've been really good this week, been to the gym everyday and going again tonight. Getting food spot on as well so hopefully the lb's will start to drop off! fingers crossed... Laughing

How's everyone doing? How's the weather your side of the world, it's lovely here so thats helping as well.

We have the heart to make this happen! Wink

Good morning!

The weather here has been great the past 2 days! Being able to go outside makes me soooooo happy! We actually had little snow flurries on Sunday! I need to move away from here, I can't take this crazy weather, LOL.

I didn't get a chance to work out yesterday :( I got caught up on issues at work so I planned to go after work, but then the daycare called and some kid had slammed my daughter's hand in the bathroom door. Took her to the urgent care and they took x-rays. It's not broken, but it's pretty bruised and cut up. Grrrr. Yell

I had a really stressful day yesterday but I was still able to stay under on my calories, which is a huge accomplishment for me. I'm more motivated than ever!!!

Sorry you couldn't watch TBL! It was amazing, I cried the whole time, lol. I felt like I should be doing jumping jacks during commercial breaks hahaha.

We have the heart to make this happen! Kiss

Hehe..... So I needed a little caffiene boost today. I thought "Man, I haven't had a sugar free Red Bull in ages! It's only 10 calories, so why not???" I mean I know it's not healthy, but it's only 10 calories! So I decided to go for it. Well, I logged it and it has a rating of D-. Is it b/c of the sodium? Just kind of caught me off guard, lol.

Jada! That is terrible about your daughter!  I'm glad she is ok.  I guess the redbull thing is because of the sodium, I couldn't think why else it is!

This week is going great for me with calories.  I have been right on. It is nice outside too so I have been able to go out and walk with the baby in the stroller.  Hopefully I have another good week.  I am guessing since I had a big number last week(-4lbs) that it will probably be lower this week so I am trying not to get my hopes up!

guys i havent been as motivated as usual i have been going to wourk out but im just drained i guess. and sleepy! today is my last official workout this week with the trainer and he says he's going to make me run im scared maybe he forget and will only make me do weights and or cardio

oh well im going to push through it and maybe next week will be a better week for me wish me luck!!!

Scale this morning read 249.8 down 1 more lbs for -5 but im going to be really good this week end to bring our scores up

Go Team 1 Go!!!!!

Good afternoon!!!

Soooooo.......... IS EVERYONE OK????????

I was close enough to the earthquake that it woke me up this morning. Our bed was shaking, the windows were rattling, it was soooo freaky. I'm from the St. Louis area, so I've never felt an earthquake, nor would I have ever even dreamed that it would happen here (I just didn't think about the New Madrid Fault, ya know???)

Anyway, then when the aftershock came like 6 hours later, where was I? ON THE TOILET. Hahaha! I thought I was imagining things (paranoia?) But when I came back to my desk everyone was talking about it.

Crazy. I just hope all of you are ok! I don't know where any of you live, soo.. Just checking in!

Vegan!  You are a scream!  I happened to be in the Chicago area Thursday night and most of the day Friday and the Wisconsin Dells the rest of the weekend.  I didn't know earthquake was happening although others told me they felt it.

In the mean time, I was SO BAD for my little trip out of town.  I will probably skip weigh in this week rather than have numbers go up.

I really didn't know I could do so much damage in such a short time.

Nevertheless, Yeah Lacy!  And everyone else that lost last week.  Remember less than 24 hours til weigh in.

We have the heart to make this happen!  Cool
