Teaopia - Rooibos - Coco Caramel Tea

Quote  |  Reply

Has anyone heard of Teaopia?  Just wondering if there are nutritional information available for their teas?  I have found other Rooibos teas on site, but the flavour I am looking for is Coco Caramel....hmmmmm....delicious...and it would be even more decadent, if there were no calories!!!

Thanking you in advance,

LAM7

I've had some Teaopia teas before, I wouldn't imagine they would have any calories, but check the ingredients list, if it includes something like chocolate (a rooibos mocha cappucino one I had) or coconut shavings I might count (but probably wouldn't actually count) a mugful as 5 or 10 cals since the amount would be very small and you're only soaking them in water to extract the flavour, not actually eating them.

I agree with tetramerces.  Since you're not actually ingesting the product, the calories are probably negligible (0-10) or non-existent.  My rule with tea is that if it comes in a tea bag, its 0 cals. The only flavored tea I've come across with calories is the powdered chai stuff.
