I was in tears earlier... GOOD ones :)

I went shopping earlier and my husband was with me and we were talking about all the work we've been doing and how things are going. Anyway I told him I need a little motivation so i am going to go try on that size 8 pair of levis and see how far I've got to go till I can get them buttoned and zipped.

I went into the dressing room thinking I wouldn't even be able to get them around my middle yet so I just figured I would see how many inches to go, a month ago I couldn't have even put my big toe in an 8... anyway, I pulled them on and I was like amazed it was not taking me a lot of effort and then I buttoned and zipped them and they were even a little loose!

I came bounding out of the dressing room yelling for my husband LOL and the lady working nearby said "let me guess you've been on a diet?" It was so funny. I was singing and dancing on the way to the car. Then when I came down off my high I had tears in my eyes because I realized how much hard work I put into this and it is really starting to hit me now.

This is the first time in a decade I've put myself in a single digit :) I still have a long way to go. (I'm very short and extra small frame) but it's a real milestone :)

YIPPPPPPEEEEEE Christins...oh my my my my my.....YEAH for you. huggers and more....you did it....yeah..yeah...yeah...makes tears come to my eyes....I am soooo proud of you....keep going girlie girl.....huggers....wow....

Thanks for posting that. It brought tears to my eyes too I'd love to have a moment with my husband like that! I'm a short woman too and its tough (so little shows so much!). I haven't seen a single digit in years. Its stories like yours that keep up the hope that one day I won't look like a plump blueberry any more! :O)

I do the "clothes-o-meter" too, there's a pair of pants in my closet (size 9) that I try on once a month to see if I'm close to fitting into them.

AMAZING! Congrats- thats the best feeling! My goal size is a size 4 (way too ambititious but hey ya gotta aim high!) that I havent worn in like 7 yrs. sigh. thank you for motivating me and reminding me that we CAN do this!

Congratulations! Its always so great to know its all been worth while. Its hard to look in the mirror and see you've lost weight but this just shows how great your doing!!
