I really want to lose weight. Three weeks from tomorrow I am going to school and i want to lose about 6 pounds before then.i want to know if there is anyone out there who wants too lose weight. In the end i want to lose about 15-20 pounds. Anyone out there who is with me.
I wouldn't mind joining. I've got 35 days until school starts, and I need to lose about 9-11 pounds before that. I need to lose 19 to get to my goal.

I'll join! I'm 14 years old, 5'7'' or 5'8'' and i weigh 125 pounds- I want to get down to 115 by September! I have basketball 4 hours a week so I think that takes care of cardio, but i'm gonna go running and do pilates too!
If you got down to 115 you would be considered underweight. you are perfectly fine the weigh you are.
Malissa I totally feel for you! This summer I've gained like 15 lbs. It's ridiculous! Well, I can kind of understand why though. I used to have anorexia, but then i started eating alot. Well, alot turned into binging and now I've been gaining weight ever since : (. I really need advice and support. I don't want me eating disorder to return, but I'd like to lose a few pounds to be a little healthier. Please help me. i know you've already lost alot of weight. Right now I'm 16 and 5'2" and I weigh 123.5 but I normally weigh 110-115. Do you have any tips for losing the first few pounds. I need to build up some will power haha

try to get up and move around evry day for about 20 minutes, like taking a walk or run, dancing, playing a sport, anything will do. try and find a good healthy diet that you can stick to but you must not go under 1200 calories. drink lots of water. it is so good for you and it makes you feel full very fast. instead of eating a piece of cake drink 2 or three glasses of water, and then if you are still hungry try eating some fruit. make sure that you meals have a high portion of fruits and vegetables. hope i helped. you can send me a message anytime if you want, or just need to talk to someone.

I`ll join :) I`m 15 years old , 5'4",and i weigh around 105 pounds. I`m hoping to get down to 100. I try to exercise daily and have a really strict diet. In the last three weeks i`ve lost ten pounds and now I`m having trouble losing the last 5 pounds..hopefully this can help.
ill join too. well hey im 14 years old 5'3" and weigh 126. i wanna lose 8 pounds before school starts.im trying everything. i've already lost 15 pounds but i want to lose my last 8.love playing soccer , do pilates, cardio,and eat 1200 calories per day. wish all of u luck:)
thats freat, but some of you teens are going over board someone who is 5'4 can weigh 140 before they are even considered overweight. keep in mind that some of us are not women or men and need to eat more than just 1200 calories. i eat 1800 calories, and I have been losing weight. remeber it also matters what you eat. fat plays a huge roll. eating something high calorie instead of something low calorie or nutritious will not make you lose weight healthily.

I have some advice for you about your calorie range. I think it's a bit too low, especially for your age. Since you love to play soccer, which is a very physically demanding sport (I play it too) I think you should eat at least 1800 calories a day. I mean you're still growing! Believe me, if you don't eat enough at this age, you'll stump your growth, and I'm sure you would like to be taller. Also remember that you need to eat a little the day before a game because you don't want to be tired on the field. Take care!

I'm 17, 5'3" (and a half on a tall day, maybe I should sleep upside down XD) I weigh 125.5 (down from 130 this month, after some -that time- woe). I would like to be 110 and fit, I don't have the muscle mass to weigh much more than that, and I think you have to have a calorie surplus to gain muscle mass?
I couldn't go much lower than that, I lose too much in my face and wrists, people say I look gaunt (father said so this morning, hah). Personally 110-115 seems like a good range for me.
My first goal is 120 by August 7th, boyfriends birthday, it's just a goal date I knew I'd remember to use the scale on XD I also use weird national holidays.
I don't really have a set plan. I vary my calories, I eat up to maintenence on some days, others I've eaten barely 1200. My workouts aren't really more than boredom relievers. I do crunches if I've nothing better to do, like I'm sitting around tapping my fingers or something, I also do toning exercises on my legs and sides, and push-ups. And I stretch every morning, outside in the sun if I can. I also do cardio like jumping jacks, jump rope, and walking on the occasional day.
I carry in my hips and thighs, but the right pair of jeans can help a little, heh.

I'm currently 126 and I want to get to about 110-115 by the end of October. I am on this thing called Making the Cut by Jillian Michaels and it's a 30 day program that gets you ripped by the end.

I'm 17, 130 (around that) lb, I don't know my measurements but the widest part around my legs (Hips..thighs?) is like 43! >.< My waist is around 19-22 and my bust is 36. Oh and I 5'4"
Yea, School is starting in september and I really want to lose weight before then and have people say "wow you look amazing!".
I'm healthy (my BMI is 22.4), I'm a pretty good athlete, I am really good at long dist. running.
The only problem is here, at home there isn't too much to snack on, but at school there are vending machines and the cafeteria. I just want to save my wallet and my body T_T.

If you think you have too much flab, try toning, if you lose too much weight you will regret it, like when having a child, if you can since you're so skinny. Lots of people who are very thin they can either not take the pain or the baby dies cause it doesnt get enough food. Of couse,thats assuming you want children when you're older.
