Any teenagers that are 16 and under?

I was just wondering about exactly how many teenagers there are on this site who are under 16 years of age. What has your experience been like with food and why do you use CC?

Well I'm 15
Stumbled across the site looking for the number of calries in...I don't remember :S
But I use the site to record my calorie intake and to track my weight

I'm 14 years old. Found CC when I was looking up the amount of calories in salad or something, haha. This is the first thing that's ever really worked for me and I love it.

Well My experience with food when i was younger was about enjoying food and loving the taste. I used to eat everything that i wanted. I remember when i was about 11 i baked cakes and cookies and i would eat like a huge slice of the cake and go right to bed. That was very unhealthy. I gained weight but i also grew 8 inches. So i guess that was my time of puberty. So when my mom noticed my weight gain she would tell me not to eat so late and make healthier choices but i didnt listen. So i was about 5'4 and 125 lbs. then i gained another 5 pounds. I began reading magazines like Prevention and I thought to myself and said that i was going to make healthier choices and not eat any fried/junk food at all. So i began to lose weight. When i noticed my weight loss n other peopl complimented on it, it all got to my head and i couldnt stop loosing. THat was the beginning of my Eating Disorder. but i would never starve myself i would just not eat alot. I am also very athletic so not eating alot and trying to workout is not going to be healthy.

So when i lost 30 pounds, i was very weak and i looked sick. People were talking about me and i didnt want to do anything with my friends anymore. Then i admitted to my parents that i was anorexic and they took me to a therapist.

I am now in recovery and i am doing well. i am currently 107 pounds. My goal weight is 115.

I use Calorie-count to help me know how many calories i am eating so i can reach my goal and so far it has been working out well for me.

I'm 16 years old and I came to CC because my binge eating ways were making me gain weight, and fast. My jeans stopped fitting me and I binged ate several times a day....then it all backfired and I STOPPED eating xD thanks to my parents though, I didn't become anorexic.

Now I'm at a healthy weight and maintaining, I use this site to look for recipes and stuff.
Im 15 years old, and I've always been healthy, vegetarian and concious about what I eat, but my sloppyness was getting to me. Since its gotten colder outside i gained weight, by not exercising enough, becoming addicted to cereal!, and sweet things after dinner......sooo I promised myself that after Dec 25 I would lose weight. I've been going to the now gym everyday, and am trying to cut out sweets, and cut my portions. and write in my journal, i also find that admitting it and telling this to other people very helpful!
i'm 16. when i was younger, i had very poor eating habits. i would eat when i was not hungry all of the time, and be ashamed of what i ate and hide it. i was also an "emotional eater" as a child. i steadily gained weight until i hit 150 pounds (i'm 5'3, by the way). i found that as a turning point and began to lose weight. then that grew into anorexic ways, and by then i was down to 111 pounds, which was 1 pound away from my goal weight. i then plateaued. after that (i'm not sure how successful i am at making a long story short), i began to eat more (despite my fears) and have gained 8-9 pounds which i feel a strong need to take off. while i eat a healthy amount now, i still count calories, and have turned to behaviors that can be classified under "EDNOS" (eating disorder not otherwise specified). also, i use calorie count to help track my weight each day. that's my story...
I am almost 15 years old. I was always very, very skinny, so much that my friends called me "anorexic" jokingly. Well, I never was, I was even trying to gain weight, and I did, but now I am trying to lose some of it. I gained 10lbs more than desired, and I want to get down to 105lbs from 115lbs. I thought this would be a good site to keep me on track, because during the week I have basketball, and I burn a LOT of calories, and go home and eat crap. I am also a vegetarian, so I am trying to narrow down my diet to healthier foods. :)
I'm a 16-year-old chick. 5'4", 120 pounds. I have had problems with binging and purging (but not bulimia) and I came to CC looking for a muffin recipe. After exploring a bit, I decided to give it a whirl and now today marks my third day here. I'm here to lose 5-10 pounds-- but healthily-- and to tone up my flabbier parts :P
yah im 14 and weigh 85 pounds. i dont starve myself, i actually luv eating but i dont eat anything with enough calories so im on here lookin for a buddy to help me gain muscle weight please please please add me as a friend! anyways i need help to gain and thats why i came on this sight ^_^

Oooh! Me! I am CHINESE (ASIAN PRIDE!!). Looking around, I'm probably the most childish and immature out of all the teenagers on this site. I swear I am.

I'm turning 15 this year. Uhm...height is ALMOST 5'3, and I weighed 103lb when I first came to this site (Jan. 21st) and so far I've lost 2lb. (Either that or my scale is broken)....

I'm trying to lose my calf muscles!!!

Trying to eat healthier, people yell at me and say I'm practically anorexic. D; I excercise about 3 times a week...and if any one has really good advice/excercises (pilates/yoga) on how to make muscled calfs leaner and thinner, TELL ME.

And if anyone wanna share their experiences go right ahead and message me.

I'm 14. I came on this site when I was looking up how to become a vegetarian without becoming anemic. (I had been a veg for about a month when my friend who was also a veg almost died from anemia, so my mom made me eat meat again.)

anyways, when I found CC i thought it was the coolest thing! I just recently started it, so I haven't lost any weight but my goal is to loose 20 lbs by June 9th because I'm categorized as "slightly overweight." I'm working on it! I'm also still working on become a healthy vegetarian. :)

I'm 16, 5'9, 156 lbs and muscular. I found the site looking for the amount of calories in a cinnimon bagel. Then realized that I shouldn't eat that bagel. So I did anyway. lol. Thats myy problem, I never can say no. I eat relatively well but I think my metabolism has stopped or something because I can't loose weight. It may be because I only eat 800-1200 calories a day, but I don't MEAN to. It's just that I don't feel hungry for more food!
I'm 14 years old (169cm), haven't weighed myself in a while but I am around 110-114 pounds. I came across C.C when I was looking for calories of a ribeye steak. I always seemed to think I ate a lot even if I don't, so I started to measure calories recently.

I'm 14, and roughly 112 now. around 5'3''

About a year and half ago, maybe two, i was here under a different Sign in name.

I have been struggliing with anorexcia for a few years now, and my lowest weight was 5'1'' and 72 pounds.

My goal is to get to 110 again.

I came across this sight originally to find the calories in blueberries and my nuetritionist in my recovery team told me to moneter what i eat, to see that i could gain weight.

i love people and friends so feel free to talk :D

i'm 16 and about 125 lbs, but i'd like to be 110.

i've struggled with my weight and eating habits for a while, but this is the first "forum"-type thing i've done to try to help me out.

i fount CC when i was looking for the calorie count in brownies—which i definitely should not have been eating (i know!) but couldn't helpp myself—exactly why i need this site!!!

at one point, when i was rowing for a club crew team, i could eat whatever i wanted and maintain a perfect 115 without a problem, and it was all muscle since i was working out extremely hard for about 20+ hours a week. but once i stopped rowing, i didn't stop eating, and ended up where i am now: plus ten pounds and minus all the muscle (not a good combo :)

i'm hoping this can help me get back my old body and my old confidence with it…

I just went to the doctor a few days ago for my annual check-up, I weighed in at 106 pounds.
Im 16, 5'3'' 136 pounds, binger, wanting to lose 10-15 pounds.
PM me if you have similar stats/goals.
athena2thet; i have the EXACT same situation as you. except instead of rowing i used to dance. & im 5'6 not 5'8 buut other then that haha i know what you mean - its so hard to just stop eating like a maniac once youve stopped being really active. & my confidence has definitely suffered since ive gained weight. My goal is to be back to 110 and muscular again. I went from 105 of pure muscle to 135 of flab in 2 years. But i've managed to get down to 125, but im still not completely happy with my body. Just because we have similar stats, how many calories have you been trying to eat in order to lose weight?
im nicole im 15 and i found this site during the summer looking up if the smoothies at dunkin donuts were real haha. and than i just kept coming back whenever i wanted to know food info. now im addicted and log basically everything...i kinda think its fun haha. =D
I'm Hillary :] I'm 14 years old. I found this site when I did a search on nutrition information on the Cheesecake Factory. Haha. I'm trying to stop eating as much as I do, and I want to be a size 5 in jeans. That's basically it..
