Thats cool dude, I was just curious because that aint cool if you be tellin' people that you lost, yet your maintaining. Maybe you should 'clear it up'.

Eat about 1800-2000. Zigzag not in eating, but in exercise. I burn about 2400 normally, and 3000-3200 on days that I run.

14.5, 5'1.5", 169

I eat 1900-2200 calories a day, and burn about 200-300 calories a day. At first I was eating only 1300 a day, and lost fast, but since then I upped it and I am happy to report my weight is still going down Smile

 I'm sorry darling; I've just been a little annoyed with the skepticism.

and it actually seems I'm losing more at this rate--I'm down to 116, even though I think that's a fluke 'cause I was 118 yesterday

I eat probably between 1500-1800 on a regular average day. I weigh 113 and Im 17 and im 5'2 or 5'3-- i can never remember.

I have absolutely zero muscle, though. I'm trying to burn fat (the only reason i dont look like a skeleton) and gain muscle because right now, even though i look tiny and skinny and fit, its literally all fat and none of it is toned. I'm really weak and have a hard time doing things.

Exercise is ridiculously required. Lol.

about 100lbs, trying to gain actually

currently taking in about 2000cal a day give or take 200cal (little less, little more depending on the day)

my activity level is actually quite sedentary but that's not counting things like housework or walking up and down at school to the library and such ... I try to do some sort of light activity such as 30min walk in the evening on most day and some days I go for jogs or to the gym ... (I really don't know what my activity level is!!)

15 and 11 months

5'3'', 106 pounds (taken today)

It used to be 1800-2000 but it was knocked down to about 1600, due to the fact its all liquids

I'm 17, weigh 133 lbs., and 5'9". I eat about 1,700-2,200 cal. per day depending on how much I exercise. I'm very active and run 25-40 miles per a week, bike 30-40 miles per a week, weight lift, and swim occasionally at my job lifeguarding. I'm trying to lose 5 lbs. before cross country season so I have less weight to carry when i run.

anyway..last year, i basically became anarexic and never ate..i lost like 30 lbs in a few months- putting me around 145lbs

...then i started college..

all the drinking, studying, partying, never going to class, sleeping.. RUINED my health .. i ate a lot, well, it was more than my anarexic "normalcy" ..i was prolly get 1800+ calories a day ..i'm now back to 157lbs.. my metabolism is SHOT cuz of last year..im just tryna be healthy  and not over do it this time when i lose weight...

for 3 weeks after 1st year of college ended..i would exercise for 30 min about 3 days a week..then i started a 2nd job..so basically.. i woke 8am to 11pm almost every day..i guess I just have to focus on what i eat now

I have a feeling that people are going to hate me for saying this, but I'm 5'9 and 126lbs and I'm maintaining at about 2500 calories a day.

im glad to see teens are actually eating here! ive seen threads like this before where kids go "oh yeah i eat 800 calories a day, im a cow"

please be healthy everyone! learned that the hard way.

I am 19 years old, 5'6", weigh 155lbs, and I am trying to eat between 1800-1900.  Some sites say that I should eat between 1700-1800 but this one says 1900 so I guess I'll try that until I want to do otherwise.

I'm 16, 5'9 and I maintain my weight of 127 lbs with around 3000 calories a day, I don't count anymore so that's just a guess taking into account all the peanut butter, pasta and full-fat yogurt I consume.

I am 18 5'5" I weigh close to 200 pounds....I extremely overweight and I just started. I am trying to eat about 1700 calories a day although today was about 1900. I am walking right now to condition my self so I can run and eventually do HIIT. I have yet to start strength training but I will start soon as I want to make all of these habits before the summer is over so I will schedule it into my daily life when college starts up again. I have a long way to go in terms of fat loss. I am glad there are alot of people around the same age as I am on here.

I amm 18 around 115lbs and stand 5'6.. I am eating 1800-2000cals a day. Days where I am less active I eat less around 1700-1800cals. I am looking to gain a little more weight, preferably muscle.

I run 3-4 times a week as well as go to the gym to weight train.. I also play soccer and walk everywhere
