Teens: what did YOU eat today?


I'm kind of copying the oh so popular topic found in the food forum. This is different, though: for teens! I think it's pretty interesting to see what we teenagers eat, and this will kind of give the chance for teens to see what other healthy foods they can add to their diet.. I sure know that my diet needs improvement XD

Oh, and the same rules as the one in the other forum applies.. especially do not post if you are not eating enough. Nobody wants to see it, and you're only hurting yourself in the long run; believe me, I found out the hard way.

I'll start!
breakfast: cheerios, a yogurt, & and orange
lunch: a turkey sandwich (i love low carb bread! really.) an apple, another yogurt, &wheat thins
after school: a peanut butter sandwhich on whole grain & an orange
dinner: probably light soup & a salad or something!

breakfast: oatmeal, morningstar farms sausage links, banana
lunch: turkey sandwich (yay, twins!), apple, carrot
snack: dried apples
2nd snack: 2 brownies (okay, bad, but they were small, and only about 225 cals total, not each, eeek), peanut butter
dinner: will be later, and healthy
Orange Juice
Banana
Special K Bar
Apple Slices
Tuna Pasta Salad
Cuppa Soup
Scotch egg
2 slices of toast
Jammy dodger

lol this is kind of off topis but WHAT THE HECK DOES XD MEAN!?!?

is it like one of those smiley faces "=)" or is it some like slang that i don't know lol...

anywho:

B-skim milk, 2 eggs, low fat mozza, green peppers, 1 slice rye, 2 tsp pb

L- 1 cup brown rice w/ pineapple chicken on top

D- Going to mongolie grill, chicken or shrimp with veggies.. and prob 1 cup rice

S- sandwhich bag of carrots, milk, granola bar

Breakfast - Cheerios
S1 - Special K Protein Bar
Lunch - Whole Wheat Peanut butter sandwhich, orange, soft pretzel, and a fiber one bar (heh I was hungry today =P)
S2 - Fiber 1 cereal
Dinner - Soup and Egg whites

i dont go by the traditional snacks &meals, i eat whatever, whenever

 

egg whites with ham,

an apple,

popcorn,

popcorn again,

&popcorn yet again (i discovered plain popcorn this week, &i love it!)

tomato

almonds

more popcorn

egg whites +  ham + fat free american cheese

cotton candy candy cane

chocolate

b- yogurt, 2%milk, apple, pb, rice krispies, cornflakes

l- shrimp and broccoli w/ sticky rice, 2%milk

s- trail mix and a glass of skim milk

d- haven't had it yet, going to though ^^

yea its a smiley.

I use XD all the time. I love it. It's just an "extra happy" smiley to put it simply lol. Anyway today I ate...

Breakfast: 2 sandwiches (two pieces of toasted whole wheat bread, 6 slices of turkey breast which is one serving, tbsp dejion mustard, mrs. dash seasoning, chopped up lettuce), jumbo cup of tea(unsweetened), 1 pear.

Snack: 1 Curve granola/fruit bar thing.

Lunch:  Turkey wrap (turkey breast, pita wrap, lettuce, two slices of American cheese, one mini packet of Kraft creamy Italian dressing)

Snack: One large apple chopped and heated mixed in with Dannon Light vanilla yogurt, tspn of ground cinnamon, 2 strawberries.  

Diner: 1 cup of barley(?) soup. One piece of toasted whole wheat bread. 2 stalks of cooked broccoli. 2 tspns of grated Parmesan cheese, Mrs. Dash seasoning, tspn salt.

Snack: Probably either a pear or another yogurt or something. Not sure yet. =] 

Breakfast:  Kashi GoLean Cereal and Kashi Good Friends Cereal (mixed together), skim milk, Light N' Fit Strawberry Yogurt

Snack:  Part skim, motzerella cheese stick

Lunch: Salad with crutons, olive oil, and red wine vinegar, Orange Jello

Snack:  A banana with Light N' Fit Strawberry Yogurt

Dinner:  Fetinni Alfredo

Treat:  1 hard candy

breakfast: kinda slept in and missed it

lunch: cup of hot chocolate, bagel with hummus

snack: cup of hot chocolate

dinner: went to the mall and had greek (i guess it's relatively healthy in terms of mall food?) =( grilled shrimp, greek salad, rice, veggies

Snack- Cucumbers with NonFat Cottage Cheese

Lunch- forgot about it!!!!

Dinner- 1 1/2 cups of Cheerios with 1 cup of NonFat Milk

 

This is my first day of dieting!

breakfast - oatmeal, grapefruit juice

snack - half apple, LOTS of water (made me have to pee)

lunch - kidney bean, ricotta cheese and ham wrap (sounds REALLY gross, but its actually not)

snack - scrambled eggwhites and chopped spinach

snack - soytein protein shake and craisins!

dinner - will be... some raw veggies, a boiled potato, tofu/spinach salad

before bed - some sugar free hot cocoa and a couple chocolate covered malt balls yay :)

Breakfast - hot cooked oatmeal with dates, raisins, cinnamon powder, and organic fat-free milk. lots of coffee with splenda

Lunch - clementine, apple, cucumber, Joe's O's Cereal(dry)

Dinner - hot cooked oatmeal with apple, cinnamon powder, & organic fat-free milk. cherry pie larabar. Herbal blueberry tea.

Breakfast: I was feeling inventive; Cheerios and original Special K mixed in together, with low fat yoghurt. Black coffee, no sugar.

Mid morning snack: A berry smoothie. Skim milk, low fat yoghurt, Seasons Choice Mixed Berries (frozen) (50 cals per 90g), wholegrain dry oats.

Lunch: A tuna, lettuce, celery, mayo, onion wrap.

Afternoon snack: Gluten Free 'All Naturals' chocolate nut bar. So delicious! Black coffee, no sugar.

Dinner: Cup of brown rice, atlantic salmon, stir fry veges.

And have had lots of water throughout the day, too.

I ate so well today. I enjoyed it thoroughly. Laughing

 

Breakfast: 2 Instant Oatmeal Packs (Bananas n Creme)

Lunch: Salad

Snack: Carrots

Dinner: Chicken and Rice  

B-2 shredded wheat biscuits with skimmed milk, decaf coffee with skimmed milk

L-chicken noodle soup, apple

S-2 ryvita wholemeal crackers with reduced fat cottage cheese

D- omlette made with 1 egg and 2 egg whites, spinach, tomatoes and peppers, and some broccoli on the side

S- muller light strawberry yogurt, tea.
so far: a bowl of oatmeal porridge with goji berries/cranberries/flax/wheat germ/hemp seeds and a bannana

with a cup of yogurt(brown cow Creme top yogurt, agian, full fat is best!) . also i sliced some banana on top and made the oatmeal with half whole milk, and toped it generously with Dark, local B grade maple syrup... best stuff out there!.

Lunch is probably going to be salmon salad on shiloh farms sprouted wheat bread, maybe a snack bar and more yogurt with it.

i dunno for dinner,

haha and yeah, XD is a smiley face... i usually dont really use it though. i dunno why i did :P

so far today:
breakfast: special k [dry] with an orange & light n fit yogurt..

i dunno what to eat (: i just got home from first day of midterms.. eeeeeek

breakfast: coffee, honeybunches of oats with soymilk, banana

lunch: english muffin with cream cheese, yogurt with granola and an apple

dinner:breakfast for dinner! bagel with eggs cheese and turkey.
