Teens: what did YOU eat today?

I'm kind of copying the oh so popular topic found in the food forum. This is different, though: for teens! I think it's pretty interesting to see what we teenagers eat, and this will kind of give the chance for teens to see what other healthy foods they can add to their diet.. I sure know that my diet needs improvement XD

Oh, and the same rules as the one in the other forum applies.. especially do not post if you are not eating enough. Nobody wants to see it, and you're only hurting yourself in the long run; believe me, I found out the hard way.

I'll start!
breakfast: cheerios, a yogurt, & and orange
lunch: a turkey sandwich (i love low carb bread! really.) an apple, another yogurt, &wheat thins
after school: a peanut butter sandwhich on whole grain & an orange
dinner: probably light soup & a salad or something!

don't be shy XD

I had dinner and dessert at this vegan restaurant. My friend mentioned us celebrating my b-day, and I got a free peanut butter cup on my way out. I never felt so healthy after a meal before in my life.. they packed a ton of veggies in my burrito, and their soda was so damn refreshing!

It's too bad everything else, aside from breakfast and lunch wasn't that nutritious. I have learned that even if you pack your lunch, you will still end up eating half a tub of a LARGE popcorn (with free refills) and tons of soda (with free refills). Or maybe it's just me. Eh. Oh well. Back to attempted healthy eating tomorrow! :3

Today's my pig out day =_= haha. Or it was but then I went on a field trip

... I thought we could eat lunch there but the only thing they sold was a hotdog in a cart which I thought was gross and I had no cash. =_=;;;

bugsy- we don't call anything "crisps" in the US :)

Saturday I don't even want to talk about

Breakfast was a bagel egg and cheese, dinner was fried calamari with spaghetti sauce and nonfat frozen yogurt. No lunch. I didn't have a single fruit, veggie, or whole grain all day. I felt disgusting

Today has been much better!

11:30 - cereal concoction - I took a 10 oz cup and filled it mostly with kashi heart to heart, put a sprinkle of smart start and a sprinkle of golden grahams for taste - ate that with skim milk and had a fruit medley of cantaloupe, honeydew, and grapes

3:00 - two pieces french toast, 1 cup strawberries, 3 hardboiled egg whites, and a plain stoneyfield farms fat free yogurt with cinnamon.

6:00 - Ugh, I walked all the way through campus to the far dining hall in the frigid cold to get a fresh organic salad only to realize the organic health food place was CLOSED and then I had to get a salmon meal which is a piece of salmon in olive oil with veggies in butter and a baked potato. The oil was SO much I couldn't even eat it, I had half the salad and the entire potato, couldn't touch the veggies they had so much crap on it. Now I'm going to get a nonfat frozen yogurt and call it a night.
