Teens wanting to lose 25 to 35 lbs by Christmas
I'm 13 year old. My starting weight is 160. My current weight is 158 and I would like to lose between 25 and 35 pounds by Christmas. My first goal is 135 and I'm going to decide on my final goal once I get there. I'm almost 5'5". I am a cheerleader and dance with a ballet company.
I'm looking for some friends to start a group with weigh-ins on Friday mornings. This is a chance to talk about what's going on at school, how to eat healthy with bad school food, etc.
Anyone want to join me?

I went to my homeopathic doctor a few days ago and it turns out they just got this new machine which tells you how fast your matabolism is. So...you have to breath into it using your mouth for 10 minutes and then out pops the result. It said that my RMR is 2045 cals by itself. So... I guess thats good? It compared me to other people my height, age, and weight and it said that was fast. Anyway, You guys should all check that out if your interested. Looking forward to next week =]

we went shopping today and i got some new clothes. i've dropped a size in everything. my mom is awesome and when i hit 145 she's going to get me a hoodie from aeropostale. i cheered at my first game this week - it was fun.

This has been a pretty off week for me. I stopped counting because I had no time. Schools been stressing because of my Ap's , so i just used etimates. Im going to start counting again tomorrow. Wish me luck!

i started school this week, and i also started drinking soda again :/ and i eat a bagel for lunch! next week i'm gonna start drinking water and bringing lunch hopefully!
well, i'm starting to eat yogurt parfeits in school with a water. gym class is TORTURE. we have to run 8 minutes on the track, then we go inside and do crunches, push ups, planks, and these squat count things. we started yesterday, and i'm achy all over now! my gym teacher said everyone will be able to do atleast 50 pushups by the end of the marking period. that'll be a miracle for me :P
i've been sick since saturday, and i left school early yesterday and stayed home today. everytime i cough, my stomach hurts because of the pain from the crunches in gym class :P i'm hoping i really do improve with my fitness!

Schools been tough. I'm joining a gym in like a week. I feel like I'm doing nothing to tone up my body.
hey leahhh of course you can still join...i am 5'5 and I eat about 1200 calories a day but sometimes more because i excercise. I probably eat about 8400 (that is if I did the math right)

nope its not too late to join.(i luv new members) I still havent lost any weight but my mom is gonna measure me cause u may not lose weight but u may lose like a pant size(or something like that.) I still need ideas and i might go to the halloween store. For the homecoming game(too young for the dance and middle schoolers cant get in) But for the game i am going to have streaks in my hair that are the school colors(im so excited)![]()

taykaybelle, i think that's happening with me too! i may not be losing a lot of weight, but my jeans are fitting looser than when i first bought them, and they shrank too!
i did good with exercise this week, poor eatin habits though. my friends and i decided to keep it simple for halloween. we're all being M&Ms. just a bright colored shirt with an M and all white :P
Sorry for dropping off the face of the earth. It is just a lot has been going on. I had a couple of my pets die, I moved back home, school started, I am trying to get my collage apps in, and I am trying to ask a girl out. So I had so much to do I just forgot. But now things are starting to calm down so I am getting back on track.
