hey, I saw this website and figured I'd check it out and ask you guys about my problem.

here is the picture:

will cardio, and dieting shed it down? or do I have gyno and have to get it surgically fixed? Either answer is fine, I just need to know because that picture is actually a month or two old and I have been cutting and it doesn't seem like the nipple area is shrinking much at all.

thank you!

for some reason this website puts a space in the link.

backspace the "m4.jpg" so it meets with "gynor" i guess, haha.

You look very normal to me, so what the hell is gyno??
i assume, without looking at the pic, that he means gynocomastia, which is basically abnormal breast tissue growth in men.
you do look like you might want to consult a dr--- but it might also reduce with fat loss and some exercise.  good luck!
They do seem to be unusually pronounced for a guy your (relatively thin) size, but they're hardly outlandish. If you're worried, see a doctor and get a professional opinion.
What's your weight-lifting program?

I know someone who had something similar to what you've described.  While I am unsure of the name of my friend's issue, the symptoms seem similar.  He ended up getting surgery.  twice.  the dr he used is excellent, but sometimes all the tissue cannot be easily removed in one shot.  he also said that it was a painful recovery and, during that period, he was not permitted to work out.  As a model, this guy was pretty upset by that news.  so balance your decision, and see if a) you have the problem, and b) if surgery is necessary because it is often considered cosmetic, if, once again, you have the same infliction my friend did.

It does not look bad have you tryed doing some chest exercise. It could just be that you need to do some lifting to get the muscle built up but I am not a doctor or and expert on any of this stuff. Just a suggestion.
emp315, are you saying that he couldn't work out only during his recovery process, or never again afterward?

Before considering ANY kind of surgery for your "problem", I would strongly suggest asking your doctor about getting an accurate measurement of your body fat percentage and your muscle mass percentage.  You appear to be a thin dude, but body fat % compared to muscle mass % has a LOT to do with how our bodies look, even when one is thin.

If your body fat percentage is high, you probably need to go on a fat burning diet coupled with weight training.  It does not appear, looking at your picture, that you have a lot of muscle mass or definition.  My assumption is that you don't weight train - accurate?

You'll find that weight training in your upper body - especially pectoral, lats, trapezius, and core - will do a LOT of good for your upper body appearance.  Good luck!
