tell the WORLD

I have to share with someone! I am 4 weeks pregnant and so very happy (and scared). My husband and I want to wait to start telling people in case something happens, but it is so hard. My sister had a miscarriage after telling family and a few friends and she had a VERY hard time with it. So, I'll share my news here - I'm pregnant!

Oh that's so great!!!!!  Congrats!!!!   Is this your first??  I'm pregnant too with my first and am 25 weeks!!!!!  I'm so happy for you.  I hope you have a great pregnancy.  Just take one day at a time-  don't stress too much.  The first 12 weeks for me were a little rocky with a scare-  but we pulled through just fine.  If it was meant to be, it will be.  YAY!!!!!

Sunquest. I was just there. I found out I was pregnant at 4 weeks too, but I was so scared to tell anyone for fear of miscarriage.  Those 8 weeks, seemed to take forever, but I was glad I waited.  It was time for my husband and I to take it all in and celebrate "just the two of us" without any suggestions and comments from others.  Congratulations. Once I hit the end of my first trimester I looked back and it was as if the time had flown by.

Thanks everyone. And thanks for the encouragement to celebrate just the two of us. It has been HARD, and will continue to be difficult. I am so terrified something bad will happen, and can't imagine having to share THAT with everyone too. For now, I'll focus on the celebration part.

Good for you!  My husband and I found out for both of my girls at 4 wks and 5 wks and we decided to tell everyone right away.  For us, if something had taken our precious away, we would have needed everyone's support instead of having to hide THAT emotion away.  I guess it's up to you whether you'd rather hide happiness or pain.  You know yourselves better than we ever could.  I'm so happy for you and your husband growing your family.  Have a very happy and healthy pregnancy and enjoy being a woman.
