Quick and easy teriyaki dinner

Recipe Ingredients for Teriyaki Chicken and rice

2 large garlic cloves, minced
1/4 cup soy sauce
1/4 cup water
1/4 cup honey
2 tbsp vegetable oil
1 tbsp cornstarch
1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breast
4 cups white rice, boiled

Recipe Directions for Teriyaki Chicken and rice

  1. Combine garlic, soy sauce, water, honey, 1 tbsp oil, cornstarch and pepper.

  2. Stir chicken into marinade and mix to coat.

  3. Cover and refrigerate at least 2 hrs, stirring once or twice.

  4. In large skillet heat remaining oil. Using slotted spoon, transfer chicken to skillet. Stir-fry about 5 min. Add reserved marinade; continue to cook and stir about 30 seconds until thickened. Remove to platter. Garnish with green onion and serve with rice.
