cool...i thought b/c it's such a huge state, there would be TONS of ppl from there. but then again, there's a lot more than just americans here, so that's prob. why=).

HEy nirvrush...love the nose ring...want to get a teeny tiny diamond stud...just haven't had the guts to do it...my hubbie loves Austin...he lived there while attending southwest...oh sorry TSU...so stupid that they changed it...anyway...we're thinking of taking a weekend trip sometime soon there...he wants to go on a golfing weekend...I'd much rather hang out eat and club...

i think i've heard of Corsicana when driving north. is it off of 35? thanks for the compliments on the nose ring. i love it=) i used to have 4 or 5 other facial piercings, but i had to take them out b/c of work. i kept the one i really love, and just take it out every day. (and i kept the nipple rings, but after enduring that pain, you couldn't pay me to take them out.) Austin is so wonderful, have you ever been? i don't know how your hubby left, i don't ever want to leave this place. and you should get your nose done ASAP! there's nothing to it!

Oh yeh we've been to Austin...he left and moved back here...his hometown also...I'd love to get my nose done...Corsicana is at the intersection of I45 and HWY 31...about 50 miles south of Dallas...glad there's a fellow tx on here...

I am in West Texas.  5 hours from anywhere.  Odessa to be exact.

my inlaws live in midland.  pretty different out there.  a lot flatter. 

nirsush. Is there anywhere else to live but Austin??  Actually I now live in Marble Falls, about 60 miles from Austin, but drive in to Austin to work everyday. 

It may not be so "cool" to live in Austin this summer though, I hear the temperature is going to be about 10-15 degrees hotter than normal.  Can it actually get over 105 degrees??  That kind of weather may melt all the fat off of all the Texas, LOL.  I hope so.  Take care and maybe we will meet someday (but not in the place you get your noses pierced, ouch!!)

to answer your question, No, there is no other place to live in Texas.  but i LOVE marble falls!!! we rented a lakehouse on Lake LBJ in august, and drove through Marble Falls a bunch.  the Bluebonnet Cafe is SO AWESOME!!! i wouldn't mind living in M.F.  but i don't think i handle the commute. 

justbethy, I grew up in Abilene. All of my family is there. What made you move from England to dinky ole Abilene? Dyess? This is too crazy. I thought no one knew of Abilene. I moved to Sacramento, California about 2 years ago. That is too weird.

Another Texan. I'm in San Antonio. I lived in Dallas in 92-95. Too big for me, but SA is getting bigger by the minute. I love San Antonio, especially down town. GO SPURS GO!!!

Hey lady..I was here on vacation visiting mum & sister..Met me a roughneck at the Ponderosa...4 months after my vacation was over he sent me a plane ticket..I walked out of my apartment with 2 cases and my 7 year old daughter, Came back and married  him!!  That was 10 years, 3 kids and a mortage ago..lol..we are still together:)

justbethy, you did exactly what I did. lol. I graduated from Abilene High almost 3 years ago, and graduation night I took a bus to San Francisco to meet a guy I had met on yahoo games. lol. Here we are nearly 3 years later still together. Just about all of my family lives off of south 3rd st and mockingbird. I tell ya though... I miss it so much.

I live in Ennis Tx but im from Okla. I have to lose 1/2 of myself lol
