...and I don't plan on doing anything big but I want to go out to eat with my best friend. However,I'm scared about eating out, I haven't in forever and I've had some pretty good progress so far.

The place we'd probably go is either Olive Garden or Papa Ginos. Most likely Olive Garden. But either one I went to I'd get pizza just because I miss pizza (I've only had the SmartOnes and Lean Cuisine kind lately) and it's my favorite food. The Olive Garden personal pizza is about 900 calories and Papa Ginos is about 150 per slice I believe which isn't so bad even if I have 2 or 3.

I will probably go walking that day as well... but I guess I am just nervous.

Should I let the day go? No counting calories for one day?

On a side note, besides this, I am amped for my 18th birthday not so much because I'll be legal because I don't do anything now that requires me to be legal and there is not much I want to do anyways. But it kind of motivates me to lose the weight, I don't know maybe it's weird but it works. =D

I'd say one day eating out won't kill you...just get back on track the next day =)

Have fun =)

M.

If I were you, yes, I would let the day go and just enjoy myself as you only turn 18 once!  Have a great time with no guilt.  Get back on track the next day and move on.  No harm, no foul. :)

You should enjoy the day without counting calories. If you never reward yourself you will set yourself up for failure later. You have to have days to look forward to and I think your birthday should be one of them. If you are thinking about it, I'm sure you will get back on track the next day no problem. Have a great time.

Yes. I agree with above posts. Go out and enjoy.

Advanced birthday wishes. Enjoy

Dude! It's your freakin' birthday. :0 Have no fear, one day off the wagon won't ruin your progress. Sometimes even overeating by a bit will amp up your metabolism so it'll burn faster!

Go where you want to go. Go wherever the pizza is best! Who cares what the calories are for that day? Just be reasonable: Stop eating when you feel full. (Make sure you save a little room for your birthday cake/dessert if you plan on having one!) Don't go crazy during the day, but eat as your normally would. And I think having a b-day walk is a great idea.

Happy early b-day, by the way. :D Have a good one, okay? No stress!

Thanks everyone!

I think I will go with the advice given here and just enjoy myself. =)
