$7 on the 7th

A few weeks ago I posted a link to Matt Logelin's blog. As many long-time readers (and maybe some newer readers) know, after his wife's death, Matt started the Liz Logelin Foundation. The mission statement of the foundation is:

"The Liz Logelin Foundation was established to assist families who find themselves in the heartbreaking, catastrophic situation of having lost a spouse, life-partner, and parent.  The Foundation’s goal is to financially assist these families as they deal with the loss of their loved ones, and struggle to move forward. The Foundation was established in 2009 by Matthew Logelin, who lost his wife Elizabeth in 2008."

The Liz Logelin Foundation runs a campaign called "$7 on the 7th." The idea is to "skip the latte" and donate $7 on the 7th of every month. I have just made my donation for March and thought I'd post the link to donate here since a few of you read/have read his blog.

I just read on Matt's blog that Maddy has thrush, and ear infection, a cold and is teething :( Poor Matt is in for a long few days...

I love reading his blog...

Yesterday he requested that those who feel inclined to send Maddy a birthday gift for her very first birthday on March 24th, should instead make a donation to Liz Logelin Foundation.

A blogger suggested donating $24 on the 24/03 and $25 on the 25/03 (Liz's death anniversary) and it looks like it is quickly cathing on.
