Thank GOD for Calorie count!
I figure I whine and cry and complain in these forums enough it is time for me to give back! This is a copy of todays journal entry. I am so awestruck with the results I wanted you all to see them word for word, and tear for tear. Thank you calorie count!
didn't make the gym monday but went to kick boxing last night and bag class this morning and man am I feeling it! Sore my arms are useless right now! feels good and glad to have done it.my friend I used to work with got a membership at shapes so we went there for our girls night out. kickboxing class, the three of us cackeling hens and my vicki. she did not even break a sweat and we were dying! got my measure ments and the results are in and all good! 12 pounds gone since last time I had measurements done, 1/4 inch of my calf, 3.5 inches off my thighs,3.5 inches off my hips, 1 inch at biceps, waist I can't believe this one..... 6&3/4 inches gone!!! 1/2 inch off my chest, and 5 inches from my shoulders. Talk about wanhting to cry?? I could barley contain myself as she was showing me and I had to have a copy of the print out! Body fat down 2% and BMI decreased by by 2%. WOOOOHOOOO! I want to cry just journaling it, I am so proud at myself for not giving up everytime I wanted to. I know though without the support of you guys here and all my workout buddies that really give me hell for not showing up at the gym on gym days I may just be a statistic of failed diets. I today realized I am doing this too live, and will be doing this a day at a time or minute at a time forever. I was more determined then ever to make my workouts count lastnight and today that I was a little disappointed that our original trainer had a sub last night and she was easier. but the new class today made up for it ten fold. Got plans to do weight training class tomorrow at shapes, with the girls. I tried to talk them in to a spin class but was out voted because they are afraid it would be harmfull to them, I was chuckling cause it would be a good but easy workout for me, but gave in to the weights. I have been an emotional basket case since those numbers yesterday still am. but I am gonna make it count! cause it is finally starting to sink in I CAN DO THIS!!
CONGRADS!!! This does work if its applied. I just joined the site a few days ago. Before I still was counting calories. I have lost 26 lbs. My goal is 1-1 1/2 lbs per week. That is what my doctor recommends. Slower you lose it the better off it is to stay off. I am very over weight, but it was health that finally got my attention.
This is an online community unlike any other. I don't know what I would do without CC.
