My Thanksgiving Meal:

  • 2 Crab Cakes
  • Steamed Broccoli
  • Canned Sweet Potato
  • Salad with Honey Mustard Dressing

I had the basics Turkey, dressing, cranberry relish, sweet potatoes with marshmallows, parker house rolls and pumpkin pie.  The calories for the whole day 2560 - the burn was just under that - I DID go to the gym in the morning - rowing and biking!!!  I'm pretty proud of the day!!!
Not sure; I just treated myself to whatever within reason. (and without stuffing myself)
My total for the day was 1900, with two walks and an upper body workout I burned 2000! Still ahead of the game and weight was still 152 this morning. So I did not do too much damage!!!!!

About 1750, and I seem to be heading towards something similar again tonight with leftovers.

I'm ridiculously bloated after having gone at 1300 for three weeks. Black Friday clothes shopping? Worst idea ever after Thanksgiving dinner.

I'm pretty proud of my day. Ate light but healthy all morning.  Didn't even eat that many calories at dinner, but when I added my dessert and wine it sure came up quickly.  My 3 glass of red wine, small slice of flan and tiny piece of pecan pie made up most of my 1000 calorie dinner total!   Still logged a 300-350 cal deficit for the day so yay!   AMAZING the difference when you practice portion control!!!!

Good job everyone, really it doesn't matter WHAT we ate, it's only one day in many.

2079 calories for the day yesterday.  I sat with a food scale by my plate at the thanksgiving dinner. :-)  Cake was my downfall.  My burn for yesterday was around 2500.

Turkey dinner came out to 1,878 cal.

the total for the day was !!!!!!!

3,225 cal

2,018 grams

92      fat

485    carbs

130     protein

Grade  A-

Loved the day, will have two more days like this till the end of the year.

I increased my cardio, and weight training to compensate.

gained .5 lbs

i went overkill. this whole week i have been eating so badly! i have been binging too Cry

i totalled out to about 3000 cals. i really need to get back into the swing of things!

i had 2,600...that's alot!!!
I have no clue how many calories I had, but I'm sure it was at least double what I normally have for any regular day. And ya know what?! Heck with it...someone on here said 2 or 3 days of great holiday eating probably won't break your diet for the whole year (unless you give up and let it ruin everything forever after)...*clears throat*.  ANYWAYS..as long as your good otherwise, like avoiding the constant temptation of all of the holiday goodies in the store you see EVERY FREAKING DAY till new years...I think we can say that would be a major victory too! Be merry and enjoy the holidays with your family..mine were looking rather worriedly at me some of the time thanksgiving day cuz I was doubled over from the severely salty ham I had (temporary uck feeling I had). But I had a couple comment that my face looks "soo different" ...whatev...it's more defined from the regular working out I think...I've barely lost ten pounds since last year this time so it's not THAT different!
I'd like to take this moment to say that Thanksgiving helped me lose weight! Yay! Before TG I was busting my arse to get to 155 so as to enjoy thanksgiving w/o worry, but i never got past bloody 161! Come TG I told myself, "Fudge it, It only comes around once a year, so I ate, and ate VERY well, pretty much satisfyingly gut full to bursting. A few days afterwards, I end up weighing 158! Needless to say I was like "WTF?!?!" But hey, now that im in the 150's Im gunnin for 155 or 150, so as to enjoy Christmas! And later my B-Day, Jan. 19th!
funny that...just this morning I weighed in at 123.2, my lowest ever...must've needed the calorie spike! However, I can't wait till I can eat & be merry on Christmas eve/day. Then January 10th is my birthday, and it's definitely BACK to Biaggi's I go!
