wrong. It was my incompetence. Because when DH told me "they are coming to look at the car tomorrow, stop worrying" I thought he meant "we are fixing your car tomorrow"
but he really meant - they are coming to LOOK at your car.
And then they tried to tell me the radiator was leaking and that was the problem.
Um - it was not losing water. It was overheating and NOT LOSING WATER.
I'm no mechanic but I'm also not stupid!
It severely overheated on the way home, which led to the radiator cracking. It sprayed all over the engine. That was the first and only time it looked like that.
They got very offended when I told them so. But they did agree to replace the thermostat as well.
