Car problems suck.

I have to get mine fixed too.  $500.  I've been driving around with the engine light on for the past year.

Hey.  Has anyone else noticed it's FREAKING HOT today?

Yes! I keep seeing "Excessive Heat Warning" on the news.... 97 to 100s. I normally wouldn't mind these temps only if there were no humidity... Feels like thick damp heat blasting at ya here. God, I miss Arizona, though I've been told by relatives there that it's starting to get humid every now and then.. Global warming? IDK.

I'm in Michigan.  It's going to be in the 90's today with, like, 172% humidity or something ridicalis.

Where are my sunglasses...

high of 67 here today :-(

this is ridiculous, even for new england!  it's almost july!

im in the same boat with you pav.

 indianapolis isn't much different!

off to a meeting...nice way to start the day.

(not!)

meeting time for me too

luckily, i think it's warmer in that room :-)

oh, the humidity is bizarre! I moved here from florida, and when we first moved, you could feel difference in the lighter, drier air. Going back to visit in florida I felt like i was in water the air was so thick.

well now its here! its frikkin tangible! just like in FL.

I didn't realize this was going on in so many other states! Hope it doesn't hit hard where ppl don't have AC.

sucks!

I'd enjoy the heat more if I got to be outside in it.

One should not have to spend days like this tethered to the Corporate Machine.

I'd enjoy it if our pool didn't have a leak and a broken motor. Do you know how ugly a rectangular frog pond is?

okay I"m going to try REAL HARD not to bring chat down today. I felt bad about yesterday but then this morning BAM I got the hormone scramble still. But I promise to try!

Huevos Rancheros will be ready in five minutes - anyone want a margarita while you're waiting?

Being in Michigan, we are surrounded by water.  Humidity is a way of life.

Probably the dessert areas are getting more humid because of all the dumb-butts that intalled water features and pools and have sprinkler systems go off every morning.

What's a frog pond?  You have a pond just for frogs?

the sun is out now, but will rain again...tomorrow should be clear and 90 though

ROFLMAO... yes. NOW. Its our pool. its brown, with water bugs and horny frogs and tadpoles and a plethora of water life. With a decorative blue strip around the top edge and surrounded in concrete. Sounds lovely, no? I should throw in some water lilies. It'll (apparently) be damn near christmas before the insurance paperwork goes through.

I'm gonna go with a yes. :)

Oh...one of those...yeah.  I bet geese and ducks land in it for the night.

How about a Mimosa? It is morning after all. :)
