I hired the kids at work (they have an employment training program and hire out for yard work) to help out at my house.

They pulled all my carrot and salsify seedlings thinking they were weeds.

The orange roots didn't tip them off?

Edit: This made me think of cooking my carrots in a brown sugar, butter and whiskey sauce.  *sigh*
