There's nothing I can do, a Total Eclipse of the Chat

Man, I wish I were in India today to see the Total Eclipse of the Sun. :( Oh wells, how are y'all?

I wish I could see it too!  I still remember seeing a total eclipse of the sun when I was like 7 or 8.  We all got out of class to go watch its reflection on a box or something.  It was really cool! 

And, I wish I was at work...I am unemployed.  I can't wait to get my documents in order here so that I can apply for job (living in Italy, recently married, victim of bureaucracy). 

By the way, nice pic hkellick...ultrasounds are pretty cool!

So.. I really think Joe Catoe has to step down now, Kim. I don't know about you, but I'm slightly irked that as far back as last Thursday he said they personally inspected every circuit and everything was A-OK and then today we learn that's naught but a big fat LIE and FOUR OF THE FIVE LINES have circuit problems.

I could understand and respect if he said "it's alot of work and we're doing it as quickly as we can" but to lie to us and get caught.. Meh. Metro's got enough problems. Don't add to them.

Metro has been screwed up for years. I'm still mad at the whole contracts stealing the parking money from 10 years ago. Evidently other transit systems are having the same problems with the circuits. But yeah, tell us the truth.

I love the incredible arrogance so many show in trying to tell others how they should parent.

There are a few things I strongly believe, such as not letting your child running amuck, but past that.. it's your child to screw up as you like. Don't you dare tell me how to raise mine and I'll do you the favor of not telling you how to raise yours.

Not that I'll ever have kids but I think I wouldn't get him circumcised. But I have no problem with other people doing it. That one guy was really getting pissed. I don't think he could be objective because of his childhood.
