For example..Is there 1 specific exercise or a certain food you live by and you believe it has made a big difference? Like for me I swear by my green tea tabs. When I quit taking them for awhile, i couldnt lose an ounce! So i am back on and doing well again. I think it would be interesting to see what evreyone does and maybe that can give people some ideas of things to eat or do to help enhance their weightloss process. I hope people respond!
Well, it's not an exercise, and it's not a food.. but this site has really helped me with my weight loss. Without it, I'd have quit a long time ago.
For me it's not a food or a supplement or an exercise, it's having my head in the right place. I really want to do this. I'm ready. I don't have a perfect day every day, but I know that little setbacks don't have to derail me. I'm eating healthy, exercising and learning to like my body.

I completely agree with you both. hkellick I too would have quit if it wasnt for this site. It keeps me sooo motivated and I have learned sooo much. And megmc135 I feel the same way. I am in this for long haul not just 1 or 2 days. My head and heart are in the same palce and both ready!
Running on the treadmill. I workout on the treadmill for a week or two and I swear my entire body changes shape. The fat just seems to melt off my body. Also, working out at a high intensity makes me naturally want to eat healthier and less.
This site is definitly #1 but other than that I would say getting my "pie" to be 20% fat, 30% protien, 50% carbs. This works for me and I feel healthy. It doesn't have to be exact every day but it is my average for sure.
I agree on the green tea!!! Ever since I started it a few weeks ago, I've been a steady looser :)
A positive attitude and a willingness to try new things.
One word: WATER! Aside from coffee (what can I say, I'm an addict...I blame law school entirely!), it's the only thing I drink. It makes me feel full, flushes me out, makes my skin better, and keeps me hydrated!
It is a comination of things of course, but the one single biggest thing is keeping a food log or diary of what I have eaten and how many calories so that I know exactly where I am at during the day and don't overeat. I religiously write down everything that goes into my mouth!
I would have to agree with HK being a guy, it is different for us. We normally don't fret over the scale or care what others think about how we look or worry about a donuts people bring in. I care about the numbers this site offers that others don't. All the labels, counters, graphs, charts, totals. I guess because I am in a teckie type job. I go by numbers. I work out keep track of all that and I do read the posts, but don't get into all the politics and some of the other stuff that goes on here, but they are entertaining and I do learn a lot from them. But over all I like that I can put down what I eat with out having to keep track of it in a journal like other weight loss programs, counting points, ugh I hate that. This is plain and simple, black and white. I have almost hit goal a little over a year ago when I joined I had no idea most of the stuff I have learned from this site...Thanks CC!!!
I'd have to agree- this site! I've gotten a phenominal amount of support and without these people, I would have just quit on a bad day and never looked back. With all the friends I've made pushing me to break through my barriers, it's all I could hope for :)
Also, working towards an overall healthy lifestyle has helped me maintain the changes I have already made. I'm in it for the long haul!

What are green tea tabs? I would love to get some :)
Mega Green T tablets with hoodia. You can get them atr a grocery store or drug store. In the dieting area. They are natural! Love em!
