wonderin if there's a place i can see a list of food/medicine to avoid when expecting.  like what if you get a headache?  should you have even less sugar then when youre not pregnant?  i know theres a lot you're not supposed to do... just dont know which exactly.

Yes, the American Pregnancy Association is a great referance site.

Of course, you should always check with your doctor before taking medication. Mine told me I could take Extra Strength Tylenol (acetaminophen) but to avoid aspirin and ibuprofin (a blood thinner).

I cut back on sugar BEFORE I was pregnant and it helped lessen my migraines.

Also, if you are at a pharmacy, you can always ask the pharmacist if something (cold medicine, etc) is safe to take while pregnant. They are usually a pretty reliable source, if you don't already know what you can/can't have before you get to the store.
