Eh, they both have their positives and negatives. :)

I just find it humorous that LOLdogs talk to Ceiling Cat. I like dogs. But cats are better.

I bet ceiling cat probably tells him to do all sorts of bad things so he'll get in trouble.

"thou shalt...uh...thou shalt...chew thy master's sneakers!  yes!  chew the shoes, doggie!  yeeesss good boy!"

I found some old pics of my  kids...they are growing up too fast...feeling old and unneeded this morning (well, they need money and rides still...not the same) The "baby bug" continues...

and very self-sufficient.  I know that's a good thing...we raise them to leave, but I did TOO good a job I think!

Hang on for a few more years.  When they do move out of the house, they'll suddenly realize how smart mom is and that they'll need her advice again. :)

At least, that's what happened with me.  My parents miraculously got more intelligent when I moved out.  ;-P

I am sure...but for now it's bitter sweet.

I still need my Mom.

 Our son is 35, and he needs us every bit as much now as he did then.  Only for different things.  In spite of the "raging hormones", your kids are at a great age!  I found the hardest years were when our son was in university - we missed that day-to-day interaction (and the bills were significantly higher!)
