A thought and a question
Why hello there!
So I am back in school now after 1 year and 4 months out of it. It is my 4th and final year of university. Now, I am happy to be back. But my favourite (absolute favourite thing!) is not the fact that I am 50 lbs lighter since I was last here, or that I am getting looks from pretty girls, or that I am getting to learn more and have some more awesome experiences. No, it is none of those. It is that my roommate has a cat and she is wonderful. Her name is buttons and she is very affectionate. Oh, how I have always wanted to have a cat. This is so awesome.
So - tell me what your favourite thing about returning to school is!
Mine is a rather odd one, really. I'm retaking my third year at college and so far have found people... keep looking up to me. And not just because of my height! We've had a good few group activities to get everyone to know each other and people have been trusting me to be in charge of matters (such as today, when we had to come up with a 3 minute radio segment in Media Studies and I was nominated as "Editor" - our group won too!) because I'm an older student. I really didn't expect it; I expected people to wierd out at me being 18 while they're all 16-17! '__' But I like it, it's a pleasant change.
The energy in the place and classes available have blown my mind LOL
I also love being so close to Disney. My boyfriend is coming to visit me and is getting a pass from his parents, we're going to have a disney world vacation together that costs next to nothing =]
my favourite thing about college is the hummus and vegetable wrap that i buy every day on my lunch break. :D and also the motivation to wake up and put a decent outfit on, and then have people tell me they like my clothes. yay!
I am returning to school in January and the one thing I am looking forward to most is FREE FITNESS CLASSES AT THE GYM! The one thing I am looking forward to the least is all the extra calories from alcohol
