Thoughts on diet pills?
I recently started taking a diet pill called solo slim. I've been taking it for almost one month. I'm considering taking them for one more month and I'm curious what your thoughts are on them.
I wouldn't do that. Diet pills can seriously mess up your metabolism, or so I've been told. I think they basically speed it up so you lose weight...but when you go off of them your body's natural metabolism isn't fast enough and you gain all the weight back and more some.
Best to do it through calorie deficits and exercise.
I have a feeling that you'll get a lot of negative response to your post. Many people on here, including myself, are into losing weight the healthy way and not through diet pills. If you want successful weight loss, and to be able to maintain that loss, you need to change your eating habits.
A quick Google search on 'Solo Slim' netted me this bit of information:
"Another troubling thing to note on this product is that the Health Ministries of both Hong Kong and Canada have sent out warnings to their consumers telling them not to use this product. "

It probably doesn't really do anything, unless it has ephedra or a ton of caffeine in it (ephedra is pretty much banned now anyways though.) You're probably just wasting your money. Take a vitamin supplement instead.
totally agree with mds86.
if theres no ephedra in it, its useless. diet pills dont work alone either. you have to work with them. you need to exercise and change your diet as well. you cant just eat whatever and take a pill and hope for the best.
i never did any diet pills because its really a waste of money. just exercise, take a multivitamin and eat lots of fresh food. i know thats what everyone will say and its lame and trust me, it is. but its the only thing that really does work.
read the fine print. almost every diet pill, supplement, metabolism booster, etc. will make all kinds of promises about weight loss "with diet and exercise." three guesses what really causes you to lose weight ;)
Diet pills are fantastic for weight loss!! Take the packet, empty the contents on the floor and now.... one at a time.... bend down... stretch the waist.... pick up tablet.... put it back in the bottle....bend down... keep the back straight.... pick up tablet... put it back in the bottle..... What kind of vitamin supplements are you promoting? Supplements for weight loss or general health??
Don't put that garbage in your body. If you eat and exercise like a healthy person, you'll look like a healthy person.

Figure out what type of eater you are and you might just find the answer to permanent weight loss.
