Your thoughts
I have been losing weight for almost a year now. I have dropped 50 pounds and still have 10 to 15 to go. I try to work out at least 5 times a week for an hour at a time. So far I have been lfting weights religiously 3 times a week (never missing a day) and doing cardio whenever I can fit it in (sometimes only once a week). My goal is to lose this last 10 to 15 pounds. My question is do I switch and do the cardio religiously and the weights whenever I can, or stay with what I am doing? By the way, I haven't lost or gained any weight for a couple of months now!

No one has any thoughts on this?
I think that you're already doing what's optimal: see
The Hierarchy of Fat Loss by Alwyn Cosgrove for details, but 3 hours of lifting + whatever cardio you can fit in is the optimum strategy for fat loss.
You could be due for a program change though, if you've been basically lifting to the same weights program for a year or so - changing over to something radically different from your previous program is generally speaking the fastest way to reignite stalled progress.

Thanks! That is a great article. I have been doing most of this so I guess it is time to look at my diet and maybe make some radical changes in the way I work out. It just seemed so easy to lose the first 50 pounds and now with ten to go I have stopped! I know that I am not alone on this because I read about it here every day, I just didn't think it was going to happen to me! Oh well, I am very happy with how far I have come and I have a lifetime to lose the last ten!
