sugar can also cause you to have unbelieveable abilities like x-ray vision or the ability to fly

Just wondering who your source is?

LOL only 146 ? Im sure you could have come up with 4 more  to make it 150 =)

Sugar is delicious.

If your not eating it hardcore, it's a lot better for you that high fructose corn syrup, splenda, sucralose or any of that other junk they are filling our foods and drinks with. Aspartame is a neurotoxin. I'll take sugar over a chemical sweetener any day.

Sugar is turned into glucose in your body

glucose is needed by cells to live

bits of excess glucose are then converted to the storage form glycogen

glycogen powers your body when it needs energy, but isn't getting food

the mitochondria in your cells changes glycogen back into a form your body can use when it is needed.

Glycogen and glucose are both sugars, along with many others.  Starches are also complex sugrs, and without sugar your body will stop powering itself

Seriously, a bunch of the things you listed that sugar can do are like what drugs 'can do' to people as potential side effects that happen in a tiny percentage of people. Yes, processed food with bunches of sugar is bad.  But like fat is not the enemy (it is also needed in the human body to keep it functioning) sugar is not the enemy.

Yeah.  Y'know, everything in moderation.  Like if you binge on sugar and pack away a whole bowl of it every day, of course you're going to have some problems.  But then, if you binge on corn every day, you're probably going to have some problems, too.

The links between things are amusing.

My brother:

"These days, everything's proven to cause cancer in rats.  We keep our rats next to a nuclear waste landfill, feeding them vegetables every day and then they get cancer.  Must be because those carrots weren't organically certified."

And sugar increases the risk of POLIO?!?!  This is about where I started thinking maybe your post was a joke.  ...Hopefully?

Personally, I'm not gonna stop eating sugar cookies because I'm afraid of varicose veins.  I just won't cross my legs?

I like that one about "brain decay in women" -) Who is your source? Judging form the fact that many points repeat others over and over-whoever came up with this has a bad case of attention deficit, which is caused by lack of sugar.

119. In juvenile rehabilitation camps, when children were put on a low sugar diet, there was a 44% drop in antisocial behavior.

So, the sugar makes the kids hyperactive, but it also makes them antisocial? They're just cooped up in their rooms, bouncing off the walls? Sorry, couldn't resist...

147. Sugar said bad things about your mama.

148. Sugar does not like candlelit dinners OR long walks on the beach.
