Simple chili
| 2 | cups kidney beans |
| 2 | cups chickpeas |
| 2 | cups black beans |
| 4 | cups tomatoes, diced |
| 1 | cup V-8 juice, low sodium |
| 1 | cup pepper, green, sweet |
| 2 | tbs pepper, jalapeno, minced |
| 4 | cloves garlic, minced |
| 1 | cup onion, chopped |
| 1/4 | cup cilantro, fresh |
| 3 | tbs cumin |
| 1 | teaspoon chili powder |
| 1/2 | tsp cayenne pepper |
| 1/2 | tsp salt, table |
| 1 | tablespoon lime juice |
- Put everything except the lime juice in a crockpot
- Cook on low for 6 to 8 hours
- Add lime juice and the zest of the lime just before serving.
