Three Bean Chili Recipe

Makes 12 servings


Simple chili

Ingredients
2 cups kidney beans
2 cups chickpeas
2 cups black beans
4 cups tomatoes, diced
1 cup V-8 juice, low sodium
1 cup pepper, green, sweet
2 tbs pepper, jalapeno, minced
4 cloves garlic, minced
1 cup onion, chopped
1/4 cup cilantro, fresh
3 tbs cumin
1 teaspoon chili powder
1/2 tsp cayenne pepper
1/2 tsp salt, table
1 tablespoon lime juice
Directions
  1. Put everything except the lime juice in a crockpot

  2. Cook on low for 6 to 8 hours

  3. Add lime juice and the zest of the lime just before serving.
