should i throw away the candy?
ok so i went home for easter today and obviously my mother and gma gave me lots of candy. i ate ALOT of it today and dont really want to be tempted. if i am unsuccessful at giving it away, should i just pitch all the candy they gave me? i feel bad b/c they bought it. i told my roommate she can have as much as she wants but its not like shes going to eat it all in a day haha. it would be so easy to do right now, b/c my stomach hurts from all the junk i had today yuck. anyone else have this issue?
If you don't have the will power, throw it away.
It's candy, not a family jewel. I think your family will understand. :)
Throw it away. Nobody will know, so your family doesn't have to "understand" anything.
Personally, I can't have candy in the house or I'll eat it a little at a time. Out it goes!
Are you a student? If so, bring it to class with you. :)
ok good! my mom pitches things all the time she'd do the same thing haha. im going to tomorrow if none of my friends want it. i know ill pick at it if not.
the two options are -
1. Keep it, eat it, feel awful and throw you off the wagon.
or
2. Bin it, keep in control and don't feel rubbish afterwards
which do you think would have provided the best value for money here for your Mum?! I personally would rather throw it than keep it because I know I can't be trusted. Are you the kind of person that can resist temptation?

We have a tradition where Easter candy and Halloween candy are bagged up and taken to the homeless shelter. My kids get way to much due to neighbors, grandma, and friends. We share this with other who probably didn't get anything for Easter. You'll feel better because you didn't eat more than you need and because you shared with others.
We have a candy drawer at work. I find that if I have just once piece, I get the taste in my mouth and am more likely to eat another piece (or three).
I would say remove the temptation!
I feel your pain with having all the candy. im keeping mine because i know i'll resist and only eat a small piece or break off some ears when I know im ready for it. I think after all the food and candy I ate this weekend Im not touching any of it for at least a week. lol well good luck.
Personally I would keep it and work on your willpower to resist the temptation. I have a Dove chocolate candy bar sitting on my desk that I bought the day before I made my lifestyle change. It sits there reminding me what I was and had become and it is a huge piece of motivation. It is almost like the money stack commercial with the eyes ![]()
Stomach hurts from eating so much junk?
and you cannot control yourself around candy.
I think that should have answered your question don't you think?
hahaha some of these are funny. first thing i did when i woke up this morning was throw it in the trash actually. i would be fine for a few days i know but when like thursday/friday comes around im sure id start eating it again so i just removed the issue. it felt good to throw it away actually. it was like, i had my day of enjoyment acting like i was 5 again yesterday and eating lots of candy, and today it feels good to be healthy and get rid of it. i kept some of the non chocolate items, because i have no problem controllling those. its becoming that time of the month where i want to devour chocolate too which i think was part of why i ate so much of it yesterday haha. going to have lots of energy in my run today haha.
pretty wasteful to just throw it away...give it away. leave it on a table in a little bowl with a note that says..."help yourself :)" i can't waste anything so I would find another use for it.
