Easy and very good. You can also make this with red snapper fillets.

Recipe Ingredients for Tilapia Livornese

2 cups tomato sauce
1 cup olives
1/4 cup capers, drained
1 tbsp hot red pepper flakes
1/4 cup dry white wine
1 1/2 lb tilapia fillets
1 fresh ground black pepper

Recipe Directions for Tilapia Livornese

  1. Preheat oven to 450 degrees.

  2. In an oven-proof skillet, combine tomato sauce, olives, caper berries, red pepper flakes, and wine. Bring to a boil over medium heat.

  3. Rinse the fish and pat dry. Cut into 4 equal portions if using large fillets. Season with salt and pepper and place (skin side up, if skin is on) in the skillet with the sauce. Bake 5 to 10 minutes, until just cooked through.

  4. Place fish on plates and spoon sauce over it.
