Tim Horton's Pumpkin Spice Donuts

Quote  |  Reply

Oh. My. God.

They are delicious!
I missed out of them last year on account of my ED... but this year I challenged myself and got one!

I worked it into my daily calories, ate it slowly and enjoyed every mouthful! I don't feel guilty at all.

Hard to believe I was afraid of something so good last year.

This gives me an idea to add pumpkin puree to my somewhat healthy homemade cream cheese frosting for my pumpkin bread muffins.... Thanks for the inspiration, ha!

Don't have a Tim Hortons here but that donut sounds delicious!

Seasonal goodies are so... well, good.  Anyone who has traveled to Philadelphia's Reading Terminal Market knows Bassetts ice cream.  We always bought a gallon of their rum pumpkin, made only in October and November.  They'd ask how far you had to go on the train, then would pack it in just the right amount of dry ice for the trip home.

Be sure to see today's blog!  It's on the home page, or click on the Blogs tab.

Oh my God, Claire.  I was just dreaming about this the other day.  I had their ice cream for the first (and only) time when I visited Philly Thanksgiving of 08 and have been striving to replicate their rum pumpkin at home ever since (no such luck)!  So delicious!

Since people were talking about pumpkin cream cheese, I wanted to add this recipe for Pumpkin Spice Cream Cheese I found recently: http://weight-watchers-points-recipes.blogspo t.com/2009/09/pumpkin-spice-cream-cheese.html

Another pumpkin recommendation: Pumpkin Butter. I love this stuff. My fave thing is to add it to oatmeal :)

You could prolly just take fat free cream cheese, add a litle canned pumpkin, splenda, and pumkin spice. That makes it a little easier. sounds awsome

They only have 250 calories, which is bad, but it isn't THAT bad.

Like if you have it with a tea then that's actually a pretty good snack I'd say. :)

I'm addicted to maple dip donuts. Delicious!

Pumpkin Spice donuts?! I did not know about this! If they are that good, I just may consider treating myself to one sometime soon. Have you tried their Pumpkin Spice muffin? I wonder if that is just as good?

Mm.  I heart pumpkin butter.

what's pumpkin butter? is it closer to butter, or more like a cream cheese spread? or am i off completely? lol.

sounds delicious, though.

Here you go.  Enjoy! :D

It's basically cooked-down pumpkin puree, with the addition of spices and (in most cases) sugar/honey/maple syrup.  Although it contains no butter, it is called "butter" because of it's spreadable - and rich! - texture.

(disclaimer: never tried the recipe, just to give you an idea..)

tim hortons: probably my favorite thing to ever come out of canada! :)  we would go there every weekend in college out in western ny. they just opened in manhattan and i'm so excited! their online nutritional information is surprisingly good too!

sortoflikeagirl, where'd you go to school?? i go to geneseo now and i love me some tim's :-)

suny fredonia: wny pride ;)
