no time to excersize!
daily timetable:::
wake up: 7:00, go to school, 8:30
come back 4:00
go to mosque at 5, come back at 7:30, eat dinner, 8:00,, do my home work, go to sleep at 9:00 - 9:30pm
You have an hour in between getting out of school and going to mosque. If it's possible you could fit in half an hour of your perferred form of exercise in that time. But even if that won't work, you're getting way more than the recommended 8 hours of sleep. It won't kill you to wake up at 5:30 or 6:00 to exercise. If you're not a morning person, you could exercise at 9:00 and go to bed at 10:00. I rarely get more than 5 hours of sleep on school nights and I am enrolled in 4 AP classes and I exercise at least 4 times a week. I wish I had your schedule. If you truly want to exercise, you will be able to find time. Trust me.
Do you drive a car or use public transport?
What about trying to get around the town with a bike or rollerblades?
I don't know, how big your city is, but that's what I do and it's anywhere from 45 minutes to 2.5 hours of free workout per day and it takes basically the same time it would take me to get around with a bus.
I so remember the "no time" days. All you need to do is make it be a part of your schedule.
Spread it out over the day: 20 minutes of cardio before 7 am (running in place, push ups, jumping jacks, jump rope, etc; anything to get your blood moving), then shower.
Then after getting home, another 20 minutes of something easier so you're not sweaty before heading out to mosque (like pilates, yoga, or some simple light weights accompanied by a home DVD).
Then an optional before bed session if you wanted to do another 20 minutes. But be careful cuz working out too close before you go to bed may give you difficulty falling asleep. Your body was just moving so much it's hard for it to calm back down!
You'll have 40-60 minutes per day of some pretty good fitness. Also, take advantage of the weekends! Do things you normally wouldn't have time for during your weekly schedule. Go for a run or walk (outside). Maybe you can even get a friend or family member involved! Be creative ![]()
