Time out for sickness

Quote  |  Reply

So, I finished stage one, took a week off for Thanksgiving break, and just in time for the start of stage 2, got some terrible sinus/upper respiratory illness that has competely derailed my plans to be finished with stage 2 in time for my 3 week trip to Egypt! Frown I got the first workout A in, but when I attempt the first B workout my chest started hurting so much halfway through that I had to leave the gym. I haven't been able to go back yet as I am still producing more mucus than any human being ever should.

ANYWAY, the point of this post is that I am surprised at how little how my body has changed! Before, if I took two weeks off from cardio, I felt like I looked flabby again pretty quickly. Now, I honestly can't tell a difference. Of course, I've adjusted my calories to match my activity level, too, but I'm absolutely amazed. I now have even more faith in this program, and just wanted to write a post to encourage others that NOT only will you see changes in your body, they will last even if you get derailed a bit, like me!

Total bummer about getting that crud that a lot of folks seem to be coming down with - hope you get that worked out of your system before you big trip, which sounds totally awesome!!!
