Time For a Tummy challenge!!

ok...so our idea for a March challenge kinda failed I think.  Lets get April up and going here.  In Feb. we all went for 10mins a day focusing on our arms.  I have heard lots of people lately talking about those waistlines.  anyone up for ADDING  an extra 10mins of Ab workouts to their routine???? so if you do 30 mins of cardio a day, throw in 10 mins of abs before you do your cardio.  We can start off by all of us entering our waist measurements on April 1st and recheck them the last day of April.  If you already do ab workouts do an extra 10mins.  I already do 10mins of abs and 10mins of arms so I will now do 20mins of abs a day. 

Anybody up for the challenge???? we will report in with each other when needed.

Count me IN!!  I LOVE Abs!   Although I'll have to go and get a tape measure - I've been meaning to but always seem to leave without one - hmmmmm..... I bet there is something to that:)
I thought I would see you!  you look great though! 4 kids and you have agreat body!  any secrets to share!
I'm in - I do the t-tapp workout every day for about 20 minutes. Usually I also lift my 8 lb weights while I'm watching TV. 10 extra minutes of abs doesn't sound like much, but I bet we will all start to see a difference if we stick with it!
great... 10mins is beneficial when added to everything else.  yeah!

I'm in too!!  My abs are the part of my body I like the least!!  Around the belley button is good - that leaves out all the "junk in my trunk"!!  LOL

if you arent comfortable posting your waist measurements you dont have to.  I know that is a delicate subject for us all.

mine was 36 when I started the site and its 33 inches now.
I'm right there with you on that challenge slappy! Thats the one area where I need all the help I can get.  My last real problem area, everything else has whipped into shape nicely :)

Sorry that I didn't do my part for the March challenge, have had a lot on my plate! Let's go April... :) woohoo I"m gonna get me a head start ;) lol
same here....March just didnt happen for me.  Had some crazy stuff going on.  glad to see you join Christins!  I need you on this one!
mine was somewhere(because I couldn't bear to measure it anymore) between 36 and 38 inches around the beginning of December. it is now 32 1/4 inches.

I've been making my abs scream for mercy the last couple weeks or so. lol-let's really sock it to 'em!
Ok, I started at this website with a 35 inch waist, at my largest size I had like a 38... I took my measurements just a few minutes ago and I am down to a 28 inch waist.  My goal is to get to 24-26 by the end of the April Challenge.  :) 

One thing we might want to mention up front is that there is a need for cardio/heart rate increasing exercise to burn the fat.  The ab exercises can actually make one bigger if you aren't doing a fat burning routine along with them. 

For me I'm going to make my ab challenge five minutes of actual crunches and muscle toning and five of intense super fat burning cardio (like the jumping jacks with weights I've been doing) as that seems to be what has been effective on my belly fat :)
