i like your mini goals, take it one at a time until it becomes natural. no need to do everything at once, that can become daunting and lead to discouragement when you don't meet your goals. master one at a time or until you feel comfortable taking on more, congrats!!

NZ time 11.31am Smile

Day two:

Got up earlier and for breakfast I had 2 weetbix (cereal) with some lite blue milk and a sprinkle of  white sugar.

Had 1 banana for morning tea.

Went off on my walk.... walked for 25 minutes today.  As it is a slight gradual hill all the way, I felt it today at the back of my calf muscles and also really hurt my chronic bad back.. but I kept on going... as it is all downhill on the way home.

Can feel the heart pumping away, so I must have burnt off some calories *saying that hopefully*

I'm still well within my 1200 to 1500 calorie daily intake so far today. Smile

So I am going  to rest my back.... will update more later. Smile

Day two continued: Smile

Lunch: two pieces of bread with a slice of ham in the middle and also a apple.

Dinner/tea: a meat pie and vegies.

So still within the 1200 to 1500 calorie limit. Smile

Forced down about 300ml of water today.

Day three:

Breakfast: I had 2 weetbix (cereal) with some lite blue milk and a sprinkle of  white sugar. (This is what I have every morning plus it is high fibre)

Had 1 apple for morning tea.

Went off on my walk.... walked again for 25 minutes today on the same route.

Can still feel the heart pumping away, so I must have burnt off some calories today *saying that hopefully*

Lunch: two pieces of bread with a slice of ham in the middle and I ate a pear.

I went shopping for some more healthy  food... and I checked out the calorie levels on them too.

I'm still well within my 1200 to 1500 calorie daily intake so far today. Smile

I will update more later this evening. Smile

PS: Weetbix (NZ) is not Weetabix as seen in America.

Update: 8pm Thursday evening
Dinner/tea: a small amount of chicken with tomato and lettuce and then a dairy food product for dessert.

Supper: a pear. Smile

So I am eating plenty of fruit. There are times when I think will this food fill me up... as I am used to eating more.
The last pear has really filled me up... but sorry to say that I haven't drunk anything all day...
Some if the food was juicy so that quenched my thirst... lol Laughing

I guess I will find out on a few days when I get on the scales if this is working... I certainly hope so.

Hello gorgona,

Just one day at a time and one step at a time.

After breakfast, go for a short walk to the end of your street and turn around and walk home. Next day go a bit further. It does get easier... to walk a few extra yards each day. I have gone from 20 minute walk up to 40/50 minutes now.

If you normally have a lot on your dinner plate, use a smaller plate.

I did however completely change my eating habits. I could easily eat 4 weetbix or 2 pies or eat a pie and a doughnut.... or fish-n-chips.... if you see what I am eating every day in my blog, do try it and see how you get on. You actually don't starve and I am feeling a lot better for it too.

By writing everything down in this blog it is keeping me on track and honest.

You can loose the 10kgs.... cos I know you want to do it. I have a lot more kilo's to loose than you, and you and I can do it.

I have my motto and I am just sticking to it. I do allow myself one treat a week.
