1600? only?

A big portion of sphagetti with alfredo or bolognese (sp?) adding 2 tablespoons of olive oil and a pint of whole milk should do it.

well thats what the little green box said on the homepage so i was going by that.

It just seems like awfully little to me (especially for someone looking to gain weight). Are you laying in bed all day?

I would push it to at least 2000 (if the recomended 2500 starting point for all weight gainers seems a bit to much to fathom as of now). Good luck

If you want to gain weight you need more than 1600 calories a day.  This site is designed for people wanting to lose, not gain.  Its also designed for adults, not teens.  If you are a teen and do NO exercise you'll need AT LEAST 2000, and even that probably won't help you gain.  If you exercise you'll need closer to 3000.  You also have a short time frame in which you want to gain a minumum if 10 pounds.  3500 EXTRA calories on top of what is needed just to maintain is 1 pound.  If you eat 500 EXTRA calories a day you'll gain 1 pound a week, so it will take you 12 weeks to get to 102 pounds.  If you really want to gain you should stop all exercise and eat 3000 calories a day minimum

edit: the more you eat, the quicker you gain.

edit 2 (sorry, still half asleep): Look up at the top of the page. There is a sticky with 3 pages worth of foods to add to gain weight.

i know, i eat more than 1600 calories but i was just going by what the little green box said!

lots of nuts!, avocados and good fats! whole milk, cheese.

You can mix a banana, whole milk, some whole milk yogurt, peanut butter, nesquick, (protein powder, if you have it)in a blender I know that's a pretty popular weight gain drink
