I'm obsessed with toast. I swear i could live off of it. Lately instead of using butter i've been heating up slices of banana until they're kind of gooey and spreadable and topping it with that. It's so delicious!

What stuff do you put on yours?

MMM..... everything seems so much better on warm toasted bread!  I love spreading cream cheese on it, and then sprinkling on raisins and cinnamon!

I also love nutella, or peanut butter and banana.  If you are going for something savory, I like cheese and tomato or hummus and cucumber.  Mm... making me hungry now!
my favorite used to be low fat ricotta cheese with sliced roma tomatoes, topped with salt and pepper

nowadays i'm an almond butter and chocolate chip girl....but only on special occasions!
I love it just with strawberry jam on it. I get the sugar-free kind so it's only like 5 calories to cover the whole slice! If I need more protein and fat, I'll use peanut butter instead :)
Sugar Free Raspberry Preserve from Smuckers.  It is 10 calories for 1 tbsp.  Yumm-o....
Everything
From mashed banana (with a little honey if I have cals)
To melted peanut butter (just a smear)
To sweetened cottage cheese and thawed frozen berries
Icecream sandwhiches for dinner (or icecrema on toast)
Even mashed pumpkin sandwhiches rock
Note, I dont have these every day!!
Also I sometimes have a spread of super light marg, with a poaached egg and pepper
Or that spread with garlic and mixed herbs. YUM YUM
I love pumpkin butter mixed with lite cream cheese or by itself or I use spray butter and sprinkle cinnimon on it!

not about toast, but since you brought up mashed bananas. have you ever tried mashing up a banana and spreading it on a waffle? it's so simple but so amazing at the same time. just one of my simple pleasures, i guess.

i have fairtrade Honey - its only 46 cals a tablespoon. which is enough for me to have on 2 slices =)
I'm a peanut butter (1 tbsp for 2 slices), and hint of honey gal!
Fat Free Ricotta (with a little dry garlic and salt)!

Cinnamon Sugar! or Cinnamon Splenda with a spray of butter or something, and toast it. ^^
