Today I am overweight and couldn't be happier!
Thats right today the scale tells me that I am officaly out of the BMI obese range and into overweight!
Its only been aroun 20lbs, But this was my first real goal on this journey and it really just inspires confidence in me that I can keep doing this and eventualy get to my healthy weight.
Just wanted to share my exitment as its been a long time coming getting to this point.
And just to say to everyone, dont give up! casue even tho its probably gonna be rubbish along the way at some point, it will be worth it in the end.
Congratulations! I know how good reaching a BMI that doesn't make you obese feels
I started at a BMI of 35.1 - and I'm down to 28.3
It takes some time and a lot of work - but it is possible![]()
WTG! I remember when i was obese and went into "just" overweight. and i was even hapier when i was finally normal :) now i'm right by the ideal weight
keep going and you'll have even more to celebrate!
Congrats! I'm happy for you.. Keep up the good work.
What are you going to do to celebrate?
:D
well done!
this is the same as we, but i was only just on the obese BMI, around 30.1, so i guess ive done much less work than you :D
it feels so so so so good to get rid of that label, dosnt it
i somehow got the idea (probably from tv and trashy magazines) that once you are obses then that is it! you may lose weight and be healthy but you'll never maintain it. always balloning to a giant again
good job keep up the good work, it feels good when you reach your goals, i stated at 35.5 in the obese range now i am down to about 23.5
It's important to get past that mark. It encourages you to keep going. You never have to be 50 lbs overweight again! It's a really good milestone and I was happy when I got from 31.4 to my BMI of 28.5. The faster the better it may only take you three more months to get to a healthy normal weight.

So you can log your weight -- which allows you to do the following:
- Plot your weight curve
- Analyze the trend of your weight (see under Recent in the figure above)
- Determine the projected target date (see under Overall in the figure above)
