What should my toddler eat at McDonald’s?

I have a toddler and we go to McDonald's sometimes. What is the healthiest choice on their menu?
Answer
Teach your toddler that McDonald’s is for a day of fun: fun clown, fun toy, fun food. It’s for sometimes but not for all the time. The healthiest foods at McDonald’s are the Fruit ‘n Yogurt Parfait, salad, grilled chicken strips, egg on a muffin, and the apple slices with low fat caramel dip. But a toddler only cares about the toy, and so you should get the Happy Meal. You, on the other hand, can eat the healthier food as a role model - and don’t finish the Chicken McNuggets that your toddler won’t care to eat.
